It,s a hard pill to swallow but , SLC showed why they are No. 1. They were a few questionable calls but that is not why the Panthers lost. They meet a better team today. It,s hard to overcome loosing a starting qb, a starting LB, and other starters that were gimpy, but they still made me proud of them.We will reload and come back next year so beware a more experinced team on offense with most of them coming back. That O-line of SLC should get the game ball, they did a awesome job today, and the defense is not lacking at all.Newton on the other hand will have a hard time running next year, a good looking kid, but did not really show me much , like the last time I saw him play. But that is why it,s a team sport.....Good luck SLC.....:)

Don,t know much about the defense, but the offense will only loose three. The entire o line will be back. Lufkin will be ready next year......

Dez will be by far the best WR in the state next year. He has some crazy game.

Yeah, the pack will be one of the teams to watch again next year.
I'm worried about my Dragons - they're gonna lose quite a few starters.
Oh, well. I'll be in Aggieland next year anyway.

As much as I love Texas football, I'm there for an education, not the sports.

Wow - You are going to see a change in your football fortunes - Going from a team that wins every week to a team that loses every week.

We don't lose every week -we beat SMU 66-14 and OSU (can't remember score) and gave t.u. one helluva run in the last game of the season. We ended up 6-4 I think. No too bad.

SLC will still have some talent. Dodge will be qb, and he looks like he will be very good as well. Tre Newton will be a stud by the time he is a senior, and I betcha you will have some stand out wide recievers pop up out of knowhere.
But Lufkin will be LOADED on offense, but not sure how the defense will look.

Every year Lufkin is"rebuilding" on offense or defense. Next year will be no different. Lufkin will undoubtedly be loaded with speed at every position. Can't wait till next year, I want another shot at SLC.:)
