looking at a lot of these polls, most of you guys have RR Stony Point in there Top 10 if not the Top 5. just curious as to the outside opinion of us is and whether you really think we'll be top 10 material or its more of a carryover of our team from last year

I don't know about top 10 in the state, but I expect you guys go be the best in our district again and be really good year in and year out. How's your talent level compared to last year? Knowing the depth of great football players from you lower grades on up, I'd guess pretty darn awesome.

I'm curious who will take over the QB spot. McKyssic will be a hard one to replace...

it was only our JV-a that went 10-0, our JV B went 6-3.

its gonna be either JR Aaryn Sharp or JR Gus Barrera at QB this year, most likely Sharp

In seeing them play Allen this year I would put them in my top 10. I see all the ingredients for a nice recipe. The coaching staff gameplans very well, solid hardhitting defense, ball controlling run offense, and tons of size and speed. Lastly, it always helps to have the stands full of loud fans. It would be nice to see a rematch in the playoffs.

Ditto...RRSP has the makings of a great program. Is this the school district though that is splitting up the high schools this next year? I can't remember what I have read on this board inthe past.

yeah a new high school is opening by us in '10 and is gonna take away a good number of our athletes in the next couple years. shouldnt really affect us until '11 or '12 and then im not sure

I would take either one of those guys(Sharp/Barrera) to lead my team. But, don't sleep on the freshman Beasley either. That kid is the real deal and if he is given a shot to compete at Q he just might win it. Or, with his speed and play making ability has he already been put at another position for next year?

i dont think beasley's gonna play Qb anymore. they moved him to Rb during the playoffs and might do something different with him during the spring. heard he couldn't throw that well which was the reason for the move.

I M O it will come down to these things...ability to lead, loyalty to the program and who makes the best unselfish decisions under pressure. But that's just my opinion...
