He is a good actor but he isn't that good. You could tell by Letterman's reactions that he wasn't faking it.

He looks like an *** to me. People that allow themselves to look like that are only looking for attention by not looking for it.

Casey Affleck was reportedly taping in the audiance so I'm still gonna say this was a joke. He was crackin a few smiles under that hobo beard when letterman was in his game.

You have two ways to handle someone making fun of you to your face, get pissed or laugh about it. I think he was too messed up to get pissed about it.

This was so totally set up.

Letterman was saying all the right things...asking yes/no questions so he could respond in kind.....making scriped responses that no host would ever do if not pre-arrainged.

Joaquin was trying to keep from laughing the whole time, especially at the end...and he told Letterman "good job" at the very end.

People are such tools to believe this gag.....just proves my points last year about politics and how moronic and sheeplike people are.

Will go down as one of the greatest gags of all time against the American public...not Letterman....he and Joaquin will be legendary.

You tools did know there is a documentary team walking around filming this whole thing with Joaquin and his music career....right....this whole thing is going to be on film some day and his gag will be exposed.....I hope you all will admit your tool-ness......:D
