Well not bad for a team that finished the regular season third in their district and with a 6-4 record. Judson will make another run at it next year just like they do every year since 1982..........good year Rockets........

They had never even made the playoffs with 4 losses before this year. It was a real good year even without the title and especially with where they came from during the year. Maybe they finish next year.

That's because a team with four losses shouldn't even be playing come playoff time. Hell with a fourth team being added next year we are going to have teams with more losses than that in the playoffs. Now I'm not going to be like most and set here and trash them. After going four and four most teams would have turned it in and started getting ready for basketball season. Though a champion never stays down for long. They pick theirself up and get back in the fight.

I think 4 loss teams do deserve to play in the playoffs. It all comes down to whether or not you're good enough to win. If you're good, you win and if you're not you lose and it's no harm either way.

the harm to me is in having 2 divisions. It should be 2 per district, one 5A title. I hate not being able to see Trinity play SLC or Lufkin or Katy, whoever comes out of it.
Some people will argue the merits of having 2 different communities gather pride in being state champions, but from a selfish standpoint, a whole lot of great games are missed out on.

it should be one title and two teams per district , thats what happens when money and the UIL get involved screwed the playoff system up in this state.

Calling them Cry Falls was a joke. I say that kind of stuff about everybody if I can come up with a new name for them.
As far as how good they played Katy, I give them a lot of credit. I didn't really talk about them much last week because I was talking about the Judson game. I did say at the time that they played a good game.
17-5A was better than I thought it was.
