Yea, it's going to be hard for either team to come from 2 scores behind the way the offenses are playing. Lufkin cannot let SLC score before the half.

the lufkin broadcast is about 5 plays behind the SLC boradcast. it is 3-10 for SLC and the pack stops them TIME TO PUNT FOR SLC.

Yea, there is a delay. It's not unusual to have a delay broadcast. Anyway, 3 and out is just what the DR. ordered. That's just great, another stupid penalty!! I have seen this all year long and am getting tired of it!!

Spoke with someone at the game and it seemed like the broadcast was only about 60 seconds behind live play action.
The computer has seemed to have gotten faster as of late.

We are doing a good job of mixing it up on offense. Looks like we can play with them and move the ball. Just have to figure out how to stop their offense.

great game in the 1st half by both teams. gonna come down to the 4th quarter again it seems.

Lufkin has almost doubled time of possission, but SLC is scoring quickly no matter where they are on the field. Something has got to give the second half on defense. The offense can score, we just have to somehow make some stops.
That hurt with SLC scoring right before half.

At halftime Outlaw was saying the same thing about penalites. He said the Pack cannot continue to commit penalites.

In 2002, SLC did the same thing with a little over a minute to go in the game. They intercepted, and scored quickly to win. It was probably the same pass play that SLC scored first on today. At least it sounded very much like it- wide open over the middle.

if the pack D can stop jacobsen in this second half then we will good to go. he is the one person that is killing Lufkin without him SLC would be in trouble. We got to take the ball and score our 1st possesion.

That missed EP will hurt SLC in the END.

Great season boys. Just wish it could have ended without the coaches getting so greedy. They did it in 2002 with a lead with just over a minute to go and called a pass play that was picked off and Carroll took the short field and won the game.

I know I keep harping on it, but the call just allowed the Dragons to obtain more momemtum.
I like Outlaw and all that he has done, but you can't go rolling the dice in crucial games like this. Lufkin was playing SLC head to head and I don't see any reason not to let your game plan continue as the first half, etc.

Yea, many of you are going to criticize my comments, but the truth is the truth. The boys had a chance, but we will never know now since the coaches started getting "cuite" with their play calling.

Sorry, wish that was the case, but the train is rolling and there is no stopping it... too much momemtum. SLC's defense is better than in the past years.
Lufkin gave it a good try, but there comes a time when you run up against an opponent that is better, and today, it's SLC.
The Pack defense has been on the field almost the whole 3rd quarterl. The pack offense only had 26 yards.

They didn't have the lead in the 2002 game. It was tied. The failed fake punt wasn't the difference. Lufkin just ran in to a better team. Congratulations SLC. Another good year Pack! We are all proud.

You're right about the missed fake punt puting them in a bad position, but were you saying the same thing when the first fake punt worked and they ended up scoring a touchdown?

It's the freakin band!!! I still say they should let the bands do their stuff before that game and stop at that. I can assure you that our coaches couldn't give a rat's $%@$% about what a band director says including our own.
