We heard all week from the Judson how a hurt QB shouldn't have made a difference to Westfield and it was really all about a dominant defense. Well Judson did your QB being hurt make a difference or was it all about the Trinity offense?

Judson played their hearts out today. They sure made it interesting early, stopping Trinity to begin the game and scoring on their first possesion. The 99 yard defensive play to make it 14-0 was headsup. Should have been 7 all. But that is part of the game. The momentum turned with the Trinity defense making plays and the offense asserting themselves, going more with the pass than usual. Judson almost returned a blocked extra point which may have put them ahead in the 3rd. But Trinity just had too much to bring to the table. 28-14. It could have easily been 42-7 but for some very timely play by the Rockets.

Congratulations to both teams for tremendous years. Trinity is the Texas D1 State Champion. If your team did not play them then you might want to consider giving Trinity their due. There are other great teams in Texas. But this one is pretty awesome. They can only beat the teams that they play. I think they did it with their own style.
