Dookie V was nice enough to post on the Carolina board this morning:
"Hey hoops fans, it’s me, Dickie V! What a night of ACC hoops action! They’re going bananas in Tiger-Land after that big time W against Duke. They’re gonna be partying like Lionel Richie, all night long, baby! It was awesome, with a Capital A!
I was really impressed with the intensity and focus of this Clemson team. And the atmosphere was electric! The Cameron Crazies would have been proud!
And while this is certainly a huge step forward for the Clemson program, you just have to be impressed by the fact that Duke is there year after year. Yes, my friends, the biggest story line here has to be the incredible consistency of the Blue Devils. So many people overlook it, but year after year we see it: the Dukies cruise through that non-conference schedule, skyrocket to a top ranking, and everyone starts penciling them in to the Final Four. But, then, as sure as the day is long, the Dukies fold like a lawnchair just as soon as they start playing semi-competent teams on the road! It’s like clockwork, baby! It’s what you call consistency, with a Capital C!
And this is what shows the genius of their fearless leader, the unprecedented Hall of Famer, Coach Michael Krzyzewski. Everyone criticizes him for refusing to play true road games during the non-conference schedule. All the critics say he’s afraid, that he wants to avoid the early season challenge, that he fattens up on cupcakes. But he knows this is the best way to prepare his team for March. Yes, my friends, Coach K knows there is no better way to prepare his team for the annual early tournament round loss than to have them humiliated on national television immediately after attaining that undeserved top ranking. He knows the best way to prepare a team for Upset City is to take them there over and over again during conference play!
The bottom line here is this: no one knows how to lower expectations for an overrated team when the chips are down like Michael Krzyzewski.
And the other thing that you have to admire about Duke’s performance tonight was the heart they showed in defeat. Like when Greg Paulus stepped in to try to draw the charge on one of Clemson’s many slam bam jams. It was reminiscent of last year when Danny Green tea-bagged him. But Paulus didn’t shy away from yet another facial. No, my friends, it’s almost as if he enjoys having opposing players jockstraps buried in his face while falling over backwards!
And let’s not forget the heroic performance of Gerald Henderson. The way he continued to play after re-injuring that right wrist. A lot of people forget this, but Gerald also played through tremendous wrist pain last season. And, really, that same problem started when, as a young diaper dandy, his wrist sustained that vicious impact from Tyler Hansbrough’s nose. Everyone talked about the pool of blood that spurted from Mr. Hansbrough’s face, but, believe you me, it was no minor injury for Gerald either. Yes, my friends, for Gerald Henderson to continue to elevate his game even after these repeated injuries speaks volumes for his character. It’s all about the name on that jersey, baby!
But make no mistake about it: this loss will serve the Dukies well come tournament time. Just like last March when they squeaked by Belmont before dropping to West Virginia, or the year before when Virginia Commonwealth dumped them like a sack of trash, the Dukies will enter the big dance unphased by the prospect of another upset loss. No one underachieves better than a Coach K team, and that tradition continues this year!"

I love the yearly Duke/UNC trash talking..almost as much as the Yankee/Red Sox stuff. It honestly as entertaining as the games itself...It helps get me by when theres nothing else (football) going on.
