I like this title better and there wasn't enough being said about this game. It's K minus 22 hours 52 minutes till kick-off. Where's the smack. The only one who is really running smack on Judson doesn't even go to Euless. I guess since Lewisville is settin' at home right now he has nothing else to do. I won't mention any names. It's just time to turn the Red loose on this guy. How 'bout it Rocket Fans? After the pep rally this morning we should have that adrenalin flowing!:eek:

please inform me on what smack I have been saying? I have been informing one of your fans on where his information is wrong, i dont see how that is smack. Show me one time where I said Judson has no chance of winning this game? Show me one time where I said Trinity is going to roll? Show me one post where I have talked any smack. As long as people make false claims, I will do what I can to tell them why I think they are wrong.

As far as Lewisville sitting at home. Thats pretty weak. Right now we are not a very good football team, however we will always be in the record books for racking up 537 yards against Judson in a state title game, scoring the 2nd most points in a title game, and being the only team to go a entire championship game without attempting a single pass. We may not be very good right now, but 58-[COLOR="Red"]34 will always remain in the record books.

I have been a Trinity supporter on this board for a while. It goes back to when I first started posting, trust me I had some debates a year ago with some Tyler Lee fans before Trinity played them. And some Lamar fans before that. My respect and like for Trinity goes way back. I have always held that program in high regards and have wished nothing but the best for not only their program but their fans.
If you dont know what I have said in the past dont accuse me of having some problem that I am not willing to reveal. The Judson fans have been bad this week, just as bad as you say I am being. I think yalls problem with me is that I am not willing to just bow down at the throne of all might Judson.
I also think your promlem with me goes back to the topic a few weeks ago about the 1988 state championship and how my thinking on it was it was a tainted state championship. You nor anyone else could really argue with it and it really made yall mad.
Also how am I ruining it for Trinity and their fans? What have I done to give them a bad name or say that was wrong? I ask you to pull up post, dont accuse me of doing something without having proof. I have been on good terms with Trinity and their fans for a long long time and since this is a public message forum I am entitled to post on whatever I may wish. It just seems funny that in all my years posting on thsi site, you are the first one to have a problem with me.

As far as history. If you are going to attack me for bringing up that score when you mention my team. I dont ever want to hear you or other Judson fans bring up past championships, since all that matters is today and tommorow, dont ever mention those past state championships again.

How am I being negative? show me one area that I have been negative or started any type of flame war? all I have done is when I have seen wrong information posted which plenty has, I attempt to show them why they are wrong. It usually is then that it gets started into a war of words. If you dont like my style then simply dont respond to anything I say, or put me on your ignore list. From what I have heard it works wonders.

In the very first day of posting on this forum, it was apparent to me that there was going to be some serious disrespect. I know I was part of it too. I chose not to post since I did not want to be a part of disrespect. I have limited my posts on this forum a whole lot since then and I am being very careful not to offend anyone.

Some folks like the smack. I prefer the discussions about the stats and facts. Someone always has something new for me to consider. Those phrases "Were going to whoop your xxxx and you can't do anything about it!" just don't do anything for me. It's cool. To each their own.

I can't speak for the others at Trinity. If you don't see anyone on here dealing in smack, well, I guess you will have your answer to that.

Hoping for a good game tomorrow where no one gets hurt.

Everyone should leave Farmerfan alone, he has got no team to root for anymore, now the the Fighting Farmers are playing the way that they are. He has to jump on something or a topic that he thinks will get peoples hair up. He nows jumps on the ET wagon, with his Haka in motion. It is easy to sit back and tell people what will happen, before it does, but in my opinion, others wait years, to get back to the big dance and others wait, uh maybe 2 or 3 years to get back. The only thng Framer has on Judson is that his farmers beat them in the championship, one year. My question is how many times have they been back since then? Judson lost and said oh well will be back again and win another, no big deal, just like this Saturday. The rockets will be back again win or lose and history does dictate that like it or not. So for teams that spend years and years to get back, it is a very big deal, but to those who spend their time in these big game it is just another game, that is my view as a Rocket fan.

I broke my ankle this past summer, it was the most painful experience I have ever been through.

Bullrock, I believe all the events of the last 2 months come back to Farmerfan's feelings about me. My methods and words don't set well with him. I have a lot of respect for his knowledge of football past and present. I couldn't believe it when I saw he was 23.

Nice post. I don't prefer to see weak stuff claiming what your team will do. I do believe in stating what I think, but it's with analysis and facts involved. Sometimes I will make picks based upon general opinion, but for games like this week, I took the time to make my picks.

Farmerfan is an all-pro instigator. He's so good he can make you mad without actually talking about you. He does it by talking about your team, arguing over numbers, and just never giving up. It sounds like somebody I know!:D The only difference is I got tired of doing that and stopped trying to make people mad last year. I prefer having the board like me.

It's not even a team thing for me. I like to take up for my fellow posters when I see something wrong, but I'll also say privately and sometimes publicly when I don't agree with what a person says. I'm hoping the Rockets do win if the WF/ Rocket matchup happens. Then ON to another State title. Then you can really claim 6 TITLES, and TRASH that 88* EMBARASSMENT you have pasted on your scoreboard at Rocket stadium.:eek:
It's not an embarassment. Look at these scores and tell me that Judson wasn't the best team going into the title game. They were the most deserving champion when it was determined that Carter cheated. At the end of the day it doesn't matter if cheating was the difference between winning or losing. If you cheat and get caught, somebody else gets your reward. It's just like Katy in 1998. They can't rightfully claim that they qualified for the finals because they were disqualified. MacArthur rightfully deserved to be there and could've played a lot better with more notice. Who gets disqualified in 2008?:p

Sorry but you are way off Lonny. The best team going into the time they got beat would have been Permian. Before they got beat by Carter they got by a very very good Arlington Lamar team who had yet to give up a point in the playoffs as well as a very talented offense. Judson would not have beat them or even come close to Lamar, Permian, Nimitz or Marshall, Lufkin or Carter in region 2.
The only way to tell who had the better teams was the way they all played Dallas Carter. Judson was not even close to winning that game, Permian and Marshall both could makes cases that they had every opportunity in the final minute to win the game.
Sometimes your homerism just makes me laugh, Judson would not have gotten out of regionals in the top half of the state in 1988.
As far as cheating and getting caught so someone else deserves your title, well you are right, its just a shame that two teams who played Dallas Carter to the final play of the game did not get the title but someone who got blasted by 17 points does get the title. I guess some of us just enjoy backing our way into rewards.

Roger Maris did hit 61 homeruns to break a record. Judson did not win a title game to win a championship. Your analogy is not correct.

Dont know why you thought you needed to bring this up. If you would not be so selective in your choices and go look at other post I have made, I have said many times that Judson is the program that many want to measure themselves to. I would love for LHS to have the titles and success that Judson has had, however I am not jealous of any program and have no reason to be. I am proud of what we had at Lewisville and look forward to the day when we can be a quality program again. The fact is many programs in this state would love to have 2 state championships with one of those being a win over the Judson Rockets. I can assure you I am far from jealous.
