Trinity-Judson My 2 cents...

For those of you old enough to remeber Jimmy the Greek, here it is...

Offense - Trinity (Nance and Handy)
Defense - Judson (the real deal)
Special Teams - Judson (solid)
Coaching - Trinity (Lineweaver's 4th state title game as head coach)
Team Speed - Judson
Team Strength - Trinity

Should be pretty evenly matched and fairly low scoring by Trinity standards. They say speed kills and it will have to for Judson to win because they will be giving up a lot of weight to the Trinity O-Line. Like most good games turnovers could be the difference. Final Prediction...

Judson 21

Lineweaver has 4 trophies, 1 as a head coach and easily could have a co championship to go along with that. But instead of kicking a extra point in 1995 he went for 2, it cost him and commerce a co championship against Sealy. So Lineweaver very easily could have 5 trophies. As far as being a head coach they both have 1 trophy with Lineweaver getting to the big game for the 4th time as a head man this week. So you might want to go back on Rackley easily having more trophies. By my count Rackley has 1 more trophy than Lineweaver (i dont count 88).

Wow, 1 more trophy. When you have been apart of 4 championship teams, I think you have plenty of big game experience. When Lineweaver was at SLC he was the missing piece to the puzzle. Once Ledbetter brought him in is when the Dragons started to win state championships. Every where he has been he has taken that team to a state championship and won. We will see if Rackley still has more trophies on sat than Lineweaver.

re read what bullrock said. After saturday it will be another title for Rackley. Go read some of the other post in the other threads as well and you will see what I am talking about.

As far as counting threads you told me to make sure I will be here on sunday, well I just wanted to inform you that while you just joined this week, I have been here since 2001, I dont think I'll be going anywhere.

Also Trinity fans were not complaining about a team being overconvident and claiming victory last week like you guys were. All the other threads have it to. They keep saying dimitri/smitri, or the linemen are to fat and slow. Or Nance's yards dont matter because they have not come against a defense the caliber of Judson. It is there has been all week. You have posters claiming victories without even watching a single football game all year. You have people attacking the Haka and Trinity. If thats not cocky then I dont know what is. I decided to listen to the Judson vs Westfield game just to hear what all happened and to get the heads up on some key players and get ready for the state game Saturday. Judson’s “D” sounds like they will keep the Rockets in the game…any team that beats Westfield has my attention…4 loses don’t mean jack. I’ve seen ET play this year and they are for real…very physical…very big…and pretty fast…this has the makings of a classic game…I hope it is!!! I'll be on the couch watching this one and then get to watch the Mavericks vs HP 4A championship game on TV as well at 3:00...life is gooooood !!!...

It was a joke. But, you have come across that way lately. I don't care if you dislike Judson. That to me is the best form of flattery. There just seems to be more to it than this game. We have nothing on you or L'ville. Ya'll beat us pretty soundly and we never cried about it. Your team was better. If that happens tommorrow, I can't speak for anyone else on this board, but I'll be on here congratulating the Trojans and telling them how great the HAKA was.
