I just checked eBay. The highest bid I saw for ONE Student/Child ticket was $155 with a couple of hours left to go before the auction closed. Four tickets were up to $450. There are a few dozen more for sale at similar prices.

I like this...Texas football prices getting up there with Nosebleed playoff tickets in the NFL.

Thats so ********! I only paid 13 dollars for Tyler Lee vs Spring Westfield in San Antonio. This one is going to be at our STADIUM! Yay Haha! (It is on Neutral Site)

It's smart for whoever put it on ebay. I'm pretty sure those HP guys can afford it. If I had thought about it...I would have bought about 3 and then sold them on ebay myself. Buisness!! That's all. ;)

But this and the other games in the smallish venues are more exciting and have a level of fan support that only a few NFL teams get consistently.

I just checked eBay again. It appears that many of the Marshall folks are selling their tickets. There are many tickets on the Marshall side for sale. The prices are much lower and many tickets have no bidders.

One guy from Highland Park is offering a Web Cast of the game for $50.

Another guy from Highland Park is using eBay as a way to contact other ticket holders. He is arranging for the HP fans who have tickets on the Marshall side to sit together. He is using eBay as a way to communicate with them.

What's Highland Park got that we don't have? They solved the same CRISIS by stepping up and financing TV coverage. Since when do the SLC faithful allow the Scots to one up us!

Plus, they're just a little 4A school...

I want more than a quick blurb on Hansen's HS sports Spotlight!!

No its not smart, we know that Highland Park can afford it too but they won't buy it. All these highland park and marshall game ticket seller on ebay are gay and ripoff! I am going to be watching the game for FREE! see how easy that is? (T.V.)

That "little" 4A school is only about 150 students smaller than Southlake Carroll... if that.

BTW, it looks like you will be able to watch the game live on your computer. The HPISD website is offering free streaming video of the game from KDFI in Dallas. This is awesome stuff...

No kidding! It would have been worth it to take a day off and drive out to Marshall to pick up some tickets for the game to sell on E-Bay. Sure would have paid for Christmas around here!

Doesn't suprise me much that HP fans are willing to pay that much for a ticket. $155 is like pocket change to them.
