Judson Can't WIN!

I mean even if the Rockets do win State there are 4 other teams out there with their nosed turned up toward ya with that sneer. You know what I'm talking about! I'm just asking the Rocket Fans does it feel like there some stones that you left uncovered? Their 4 other teams that are Prouder than you even if they didn't win state.

With the Exception of Smithson Valley because their still playing......the other 3 teams Copperas Cove, SA Madison, and SA Churchill have to be looking at Judson and saying to themselves "Judson 2005 STATE CHAMPS!??" thats if they win! You can Argue excuses all day but you can't argue with the "L's" the other team slapped on you in the Lost Column. Judson can't win either way this weekend no matter what the arguement will consist of?

This type of game reminds me of Arm Wrestling a girl! If you WIN.... its like who cares you beat a GIRL in a Arm Wrestling match! But if the girl really beats you.... its like I JUST LOST AN Arm Wrestling match to a girl! :eek: Like I said you can't win either way ARM Wrestling A GIRL, or winning a State Championship knowing there 4 other teams that slapped a loss on ya.

i mean i understand where he's coming from. As compared to an undefeated season it's not quite as sweet, knowing you cant say you beat everyone. but again, when you're holding that trophy, it doesnt matter

Too be honest I can't remember the last time my team won it?! As matter of fact the last time my team did make it they were beat by the Rockets! Like I've ALWAYS said about the ROCKETS you can't argue success. DW is one of my favorite coaches and motivator! I would have loved to played him! Look, its like this..There is a reason why Judson was there and it was to get at Westfield and then take State..A loss is a loss. The teams that beat us could say that this should have of been us. But I doubt it..This season is better than a perfect season. Because of the adversity we overcame to get here.The main question is How did the Rocket make the playoffs, U need to ask the Reagan Rattlers..Remember there was a three way tie for third in our district..We had to beat reagan by 21..Reagan scored first and we were down by 28 pts..Thats four touchdowns..We won by 25. Reagan should have put the nail in the coffin and ended our season. Once again they were up 4 touchdowns..How many teams could have done that. Just look at our district and look at who beat who. Churchill beat us and SV. Reagan beat Churchill. We beat Reagan..The beginning was a rocky road, but we pulled it together and were going to bring another state title home..I'll take this storybook season over a perfect season anyday..This is what we call ROCKET PRIDE.

Ha..Cove is in the house..All I can say, it was a great game we had this season and we learned alot form the loss, and it just made us stronger..Trust me..The title is coming home to....CONVERSE.....

This is the BEST Judson season EVER! I like how they overcame adversity. Yeah, they'll bring the title back to Converse on Saturday. They don't put regular season wins on the scoreboard, brag board, or press box. I don't care about the 4 losses right now and I guarantee you those other 3 teams would trade a win to be playing this week. Judson has never won a title with an unblemished record. They had 2 ties in 1993.

Are you kidding? We played those teams with many injured players and still did not get blown out. We are running a totally new offensive setup and we were split by the new high school, yet here we are. None of those other teams can state that. We got everyone back the 3 from last game of the season, you know 21-0, 35-10, 21-0, 30-28(against an O'Connor team that would have beaten any of the other teams except Smithson Valley), who I believe is a great team also. Then we beat Harlingen 37-15 and the #2 team in the state 17-14, while holding their high powered offense to under 120 yards of total offense. Now here we are again, the underdog, well no matter what, we deserve to be there... Like I have said all year, offense wins games and DEFENSE wins championships.....

If Judson does pull through and win it all they derserve it, I'd feel the same way if I went undefeated as if I lost 4 games, because I'd have that gold trophy in my case and no-one else would and they could b*tch and moan all they wanted but it aint gonna change.

I just wanted to throw this out there........Spring Westfield was also ranked 5th in the COUNTRY.....according to USA Today. Now I'm not the smartest guy around but if you beat the 5th ranked team in the country.....your pretty damn good. Period.

I'm looking forward to a great game this weekend. Hopefully both my teams wearing red will win. After Judson wins stste, instead of heading home to SA to celebrate, I'm heading north to Cowboy country to watch my Chiefs beat the cowboys. The Judson defense has there work cut out for them. I look forward to Saturdays matchup, just not looking forward to standing in line in the cold weather to get in.

If the Defense comes to play this saturday like they did last saturday, Trinity's offense will have its work cut out for them. westfield didn't know what to think of Judson's defense last week everytime they took a step there was a Judson defender right in there face so we will see.
