I was just about to post this. Does anyone else out there think this is a little ridiculous

That's kinda funny. Where is the game being played at?
Are there not enough seats or something there?

Why do I get the feeling this may make national news before Saturday? Now the folks from Ohio will really think we're insane.

Rose Stadium in Tyler...it only seats 12,000 but there is a huge grass berm that goes around from end zone to end zone. It should hold 20,000 ...but that still might not be enough.

I love the Q&A --

Q: Where are the seats located in the stadium?
Dec-07-05
A: All seats are sold as General Admission. Please arrive early.

For $200 you'd expect a 50 yard line seat and maybe a shuttle to the front gate.

Ya, Where is the parking pass? I have also noticed that more fans have followed suit and last I checked there were 4 sets of 2 tickets for sale

That's our local booster clubs at thier best. Always tryin' to make a buck. Question is, do the proceeds go to the school? That would have have a good way to sell all of those tickets. Wonder why the school never thought of it?

these tickets are being sold by people, not booster clubs

Why are the Southlake fans complaining about this? I remember last year when they played Denton Ryan and it was telivised people were selling them on e-bay as well

Went and checked it out. Appears to be Marshall fans selling the tickets and most of them seem to be from the same seller. Taking advantage of a bad situation. Are the scalping rules not in force in a situation like this?

first they only made it up to 60 dollars, second it was a home game for Carroll and the site was selected before they knew the game would be televised.

Too funny! Of course all of the ticket owners are from Marshall hoping to cash in on all the money from HP. Those folks will have a nice Christmas this year with all of that money to spend now!

I did not catch the whole story but on the radio in DFW this morning there was a report about the HP Booster Club buying up the tickets.... it was being investigated... don't know what that means or even if something illegal happened.
