if there was one game out of this whole year that I wanted Judson to win it was last weekend, I really didn't think they would beat westfield but they proved me wrong and I'm so proud of those guys for coming back in the playoffs and showing us that old Rocket Pride again something that was missing from this team for most of the regular season. win or lose this weekend I'm so proud of this team,,,,,ITS NOT HOW YOU START ITS HOW YOU FINISH and this team really showed that this year. I thought coach Rackley stated it well on TV when they interviewed him after the game on saturday if you want to see it its on mysa.com.

No doubt about it. It's a season to be proud of.

I agree..But those Rockets dont..They feel, this season would be nothing if they dont bring the Championship back to CONVERSE..If you thought they were fired up about SW,just wait for this one.

this team isn't just happy to be in the championship game -- they won't be satisfied unless they win and they know they've got to spend everything they've got one more time.
carpe diem.

I think I'm going to leave now just in case the roads don't clear up. I want to be there in time to get a good seat and ticket. Isn't it Friday already???? This ahs to be the longest week of the year!

Thanks for the support. I'm not satisfied with them just getting to the title game and it will leave a bitter taste in my mouth if they lose. I'm proud of what they've done so far, but they need to finish the deal.

They will finish..Its called DESTINY..Last week I didnt get the score right but I got the point difference correct. I said Judson 24 & SW 21..This week's prediction is.....Judson 35 & Trinity 21

I got neither the score nor the point difference correct (I said either WF 14 Judson 0, or Judson 28 WF 21 in OT). I did, however, get the 200-yards for Judson prediction and the 5-10 combined-teams' turnovers correct (both teams combined for 5 TO's). Boy was my 400 yards for WF (win or lose) thankfully way off. As for this Saturday, I'll say Judson wins 7-0 in OT, and gets 150 yards of well-earned but timely offense. Numerous TO's for both teams. This could be a classic defensive fight to the death the likes of which hasn't been seen in some time in a Final. Either that, or Dimitri and other Trinity offensive threats prove unstoppable, the Judson offense gets forced into numerous mistakes, and it'll be similar to Dallas Carter 31 Judson 14 (maybe not even that close), minus the eventual forfeit, since I assume and trust that the Trinity people have a much greater sense of ethics than those demonstrated by the Carter crowd back in 1988 (for their sake I trust that things are much better there now).
Judson's kicking game on punts and FG's is much better than it was earlier in the season, but boy do some of those snaps look scary. That could prove fatal.

Losing, who said anything about losing. Judson has done a fine job again this season, even at rocky as it was at times. Folks from around the state are looking down on them because of the 4 loses. It's cool not to be favored, weren't last week and again this week. The kids don't seem to mind, it only serves as a motivator when all doubt them. I saw complete domination last week on defense, and there should be no let down now.

I agree with you 100%. The way the Rockets were playing at mid-season I'd have bet everything I have that they were going nowhere this year. When I saw them play Churchill, I wouldn't even have known that I was watching CJ play if it hadn't have been for the uniforms. What a comeback and what a great coaching job! There were many CJ posters on here at that time that were calling for Rackley's head at that time and I supported him fully and always will. What a great coach and even better man. I'm guessing that he is not done coaching yet this year and that Saturday afternoon the Rockets will add #7 to the case. GO ROCKETS!!

I'm totally impressed that they could get 4 loses, but still not crater, just keep up the efforts. That's a testimony to the team, the coaches and the parents that never waver in their support. Heck, Judson could be a team of destiny this year.
I hope your guys ate their Wheaties! They are going to need it!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, historically, the Judson Rockets have been at their best when they're the "Judson Rocky's"---even in the games they lose, which Balboa did in his first meeting with Apollo Creed. Nevertheless, that said, I'll close here with the final bits of Apollo 11 Flight Director Gene Kranz' speech to his controllers about 45 minutes before the powered descent to the moon began (literal "rocket" pride):
....we think only to win, and I know you guys, if we've got a few seconds to work your problem, we're gonna' win. So let's go have at it, gang

More points will be put on the board and this will not go into OT..Turnovers will be key, I dont think Penalties play a big factor in this one..Turnovers will be key..and so will special teams

You're probably right. 7-0 is definitely on the extreme side. I guess I'm thinking of how shaky albeit improved the offense still is, mixed with the continued stellar performance of the Defense.

I honestly dont think Judson has played its best football yet. Their are a few that still havent played to their potential. There's still alot that hasnt been seen..If they come focused and fired up. Which there is no doubt they will. This team will show why there here..There in for a fight..But quess what theyve been doing all year...These Rockets are a Band of Brothers Now...
