PG for the Orlando Magic was just on Jim Rome. Rome asked him what did he do to improve his game and to make himself a better player. He replied "I had to learn PATIENCE and not to panic in Critical situations" How did he do that? First let me add, that he can't swim.....has a fear of water.....and a little over a year ago, he lost his father....to a DROWNING accident...How can you take those things and make yourself a better person/player? He through a Cinder Block into the bottom of his pool.....his goal.....GET IT OUT. Great Story, great guy.

Yeah, that is pure nails on his part. Great story. I was surprised he didn't get more hype in the draft when he came out of St. Joe's.

They spoke on that also....he said what motivated him was that the scouts and "Experts" said that had already "Maxed Out" in College and he couldn't get any better.

I read something about that in an issue of ESPN magazine. Great story.

If the Magic want to make any kind of run come playoff time Jameer will need to play like he's been playing...like a veteran... Jameer and DJ Augustin play very similar but I think DJ has him in the quicks department but Jameer has him in the brains department.
