This a spin off project from my Texas High School Stadium Database. There is a lot of great High School football played in all kinds of venues. This is just a sample to tide you over until the 2005 season starts.

I loved the video on the texas hs football stadiums. alot of katy clips towards the end and you can even see strakes old stadium right before the clip of southlake carrols stadium.

You are right, I'm from West Texas but live in Katy now. I had to use what I had on hand. There is one stadium shown twice in two locations. One picture taken in the original location in the 1950's the second taken in 2004 at it's latest location. Good trivia question, huh.

i loved it texasbob was i correct about strakes old stadium though? is that it before carrols around the middle of the video?

I'll have to be honest, I have lots of pictures and I would have to go back to see myself. I can tell already I'm going to have to go back and make a list of the stadiums pictured. I'll try to get that done in the next few days and I'll post the list here. OK?

I didn't see Williams Stadium in Garland :(

There are almost a 1000 fields that host varsity football so I cant really have them all. However I dont know any where else you can see a pic of the "Cowboy Corral" Sixman Stadium in Happy, Texas

Not really new to Katy. I've been here since 1992. I've seen lot of great Katy Football in the years I've been here.

Yes it is but I thought that shot was taken after the stands were enlarged.

the stands werent just enlarged. they also added field turf, a new track, press box the size of 2 18-wheelers and a paintjob on the turf itself.

I'll have to drive over there and take my own picture. I guess Katy will playing them at their stadium this year. That'll be a sqeeze.

RGVs La Joya stadium came out...good vid...

La Joya stadium is a great place. I took that picture about a year ago. I have other shots but that "La Joya" on the endzone was a good one. I didn't get by "Bennie La Prade" Stadium. Send me your signature picture, maybe a larger version, and I'll add it to the listing in the Stadium Database.

Wow, awesome video clip. Thanks Bob! I dont know about the rest of yall but that realllly gets me pumped up to watch some football this fall!
