Plano vs. SLC Pictures

Here are some pictures from the game on saturday. i know the lighting isnt the greatest and its kinda far away(i was in the band about 15-20 rows back on the 40).

The only bitterness I have is that the slc OLINE was holding all day long those refs didn't call 1 freakin holding penalty.:eek:

Look at the line shot on Renfros touchdown pass I see 3 lineman holding up by the shoulder pads. Amazing!! A few holding calls could of slowed that offense a little.

Just a little bitter:( . We gave it our best shot but lost to a better team. One play here or there Plano could of pulled a shocker:eek:

before band we play football, then if we have time after band we play, then load buses..if its a close game we drink them on the bus, far game we drink them at stadium..

the calls worked both ways. mcelroy was hit cheaply several times and not called for it. and there were others...

You have to admit not one holding penalty the whole game. Just look at that picture their 3 holdings on 1 play. When the player is moving away and the shoulders stay locked with the oline. We have a problem. Oh well. Got to be the good coaching.

you do have points. i was surprised by slc not having many penalties despite getting called several in each regular season game.

I have seen that and you cannot tell if they are holding in a still photograph. Holding is not just putting your hands on somebody, but grabbing and pulling. Carroll has been blocking like that since 2002 and they have had a few, but not many holding penalties. I guess all the refs since 2002 have been wrong.

No they just decided not to call holding at all during the game on Saturday. That is the biggest beaf I have from Saturday. Many cases it was very, very blatant. To be fair Plano didn't get called at all. The previous 3 games they had a least 2 or 3 each game. So I know the refs were swallowing the whistle on Saturday.

Not whining!! Plano probaly still would of lost. However, 1 or 2 holding penalties could of made things much tighter.
