After some weirdness as he tried to register for classes at LSU, Navasota's Dexter Pratt has decided to reopen the bidding for his services. OSU is in the mix, the Ags probably are too. Stay tuned. He's going to be pursued by just about everyone.

All the quotes I've read have said that LSU is now out of the picture. Some weird stuff went down in Baton Rouge.

If Okie Lite is in the mix, the reason is serious grade issues. Rule of thumb... top talent seriously considering Okie Lite = serious grade/character concerns.

Some of the LSU boards have been reporting that he got to Baton Rouge and they told him he was not going to get a shot at RB, they were only interested as an LB. Don't know how accurate that is.

Man, lots of stories floating around on this one...Here's another one from a Bayou Forum..

"Here is what I have heard from some TAF people.

Pratt obviously didn't get the okay from the NCAA and found this out when he came to BR to enroll early. When the problem arose, his HS coach (or one of his HS coaches) came to BR to try to help him get it all straight. When it didn't get done and they had to go back to Texas, the coach and Pratt got upset that LSU wouldn't pick up the tab for the hotel room (which the school CANNOT do for a potential athlete or anyone associated with that player) and left BR all pissed off and saying that he was going somewhere else.

I won't say that this is gospel truth, just another story I heard from someone. Take it FWIW."

I don't think anyone knows what is going on with it. Although Okie State has a history of picking up distressed assets.
