2006 D2 playoffs cancelled

I'm cancelling the D2 playoffs next year! I mean why even hold them?

SLC has made the semis the last 4 years. Lufkin, Katy, and SV have done it 3 times in the last 4 years.

I say we save money and just start with the semis!:D

Judson has gone 3 of the last 4 years. Trinity, T Lee, and Westfield have gone twice and you can almost make a case for cancelling D1, too!:D

Anyway, congrats to those 8 teams for their success over the last 4 years.

SLC and Katy are both losing a lot of seniors next year so they may be out earlier than usual next year. There may also be a lot of teams with many returning players next year, so you nver know.

Yeah, it was said in jest. I do think it's an incredible feat to be the best D2 team in the region every year.
