I am not a Texas fan and many of you know that. However I want to wish all of you orangebloods congratulations on completing a very impressive regular season. Texas fans have been through a lot of adversity but this year seems to be special, dare I compare it to my Boston Red Sox 2004 season?
Best of luck to you guys in the Rose Bowl and this non longhorn fan but true Texan can't help but hope that you guys are celebrating come Jan 5th 2005. Once again Congrats and best of luck in the Rose Bowl.

man you are harsh. I have to give them props becaue they are a damn good football team, and I have given them a hard time in the past. However I refuse to be linked to those that drink the "hateraide" and will admit when I see a good football team. I didnt get to watch the game today since I was at TX Stadium, however anytime you put 70 up in a championship game it is beyond impressive.

Well yea, i will give them props for being a GOOD team. I wont give them props on being an elite team till they knock off the champs.

the word elite implies a group or a class of teams. If both the teams playing the National Championship this year are not the elite teams then who else is an elite team with USC?
