Just got back from the game nobody could see on TV, unless you have the NFL Network. Rice beat WMU in every phase of the game. They should have been playing a Big XII team tonight, I thought.
In the second half, they were just toying with them. The Clement to Dillard to Clement play was just awesome, and was set up by two previous plays out of the same formation.
Clement was impressive, as were Dillard and especially #12, Casey.
All Hail the Rice Owls, winner of ten games in 2008. Congrats to all Rice grads.
Fitting that Dicky Moegle was at the game. Until tonight, Rice hadn't won a bowl game since the infamous 1954 Cotton Bowl game vs. Alabama.

Oh, I forgot -- a 20 minute stay in the line to the concession stand (in the Club Level, no less), where three sodas and three burgers cost me $51 and caused me to miss half of the second quarter of the game.
And that front row club level seat required binoculars to read the numbers on the jersey on the opposite end of the field -- they are that high.
And $20 to park at a game with a half-full stadium.
Please UIL, please do not go back to Reliant Stadium.

The games were fine. As for the food costs.... Thats what tail gating is for, eat all you can in the parking lot. And for 20 dollar parking... Mr. Spartan I think you've been Bamboozled. But I rather have the State games at Rice. Or Delmar (Just Kidding)
