Though I have to give them credit... I haven’t laughed that hard at a CCG in a long time. VTech proved once again that they have no character or heart. Take the fight to them early on and they fold like a cheap pair of jeans. Even when they were trying to come back, only half the team looked like they gave a damn. So, thanks to the Chokies, we get to see a crappy Florida State team in a BCS bowl. Great.

Is this the same VaTech team that "deserved" to play in the national championship game.............
The same team that would beat Texas if given the opportunity?
Man...some people are just dumb.

But this is the once in a lifetime, greatest and most unbelievable in talent & skill ACC conference. How can they be so human.
I'll tell you why... Its called East Coast Press core "HYPE" !!!!
FSU is a joke and they just spanked the ACC prima-donna team (Va Tech). The only thing that pisses me off is now Nebraska cant spank the crap out of FSU in a Bowl game to show you that FSU would be a joke in the Big-12.
I'll just have to settle for the no good , sorry Colorado team playing the great ACC (Clemson).

Just remember that this Colorado team that you are calling a joke went to Miami and lost 23-3. This is the same Miami team that went to Blacksburg and destroyed Va Tech 27-7. OUCH !!!
Maybe Texas is just really good huh ??? And the ACC is filled with alot of Big-12 caliber teams like Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa St and Mizzou and heck even Tx A&M.
I mean for Christ sake Tx A&M went to Clemson and barely lost on the last play of the game.
Basically the ACC if filled with alot of Colorado's and Nebraska's.
Second... keep running that mouth Junkie. Colorado went (5-4) in the Big-12 and Clemson went (4-4) in the ACC. So, this sorry no good JOKE team Colorado (that you've been harping all year) is going to play a team that's on its same par in a Bowl game.
You better hope Colorado doesnt beat Clemson butt. If they do it will confirm that the ACC is really a lower class conference this season and all tht Big-12 crap you've been yelling all year is going to be shoved in that face !!!
Because I think this no good Colorado team that just got spanked by Texas.. I think they will handle Clemson without much of a problem !!!

They have no character because they lost a game?
I guese UT has no character, the lose. Hell they lost 5 times to one team in the last 6 years.

After losing 70-3 how do you defend Colorado??? As much as I want to I can't defend that choke job I saw Satuday night either...but 70-3 give me a break:D
OUTSIDE of UT...only one team from BigXII has a chance at winning a bowl game. Big XII will be 1-5 by Jan 2. With the only win being Kansas over Houston!!

TxTech can beat Bama'... That OU vs Oregon matchup looks pretty good too... The BigXII will have a better record than 1-5.

I believe the ACC will be the first conference that is "reviewed" under the BCS guidelines for not having high-enough ranked teams playing in the BCS bowl game.
Despite all the clamor about the Big East, WVU's high rank saved them this year while FSU's low rank (or alternatively, VaTech and Miami choking) embarassed the ACC.

OK don't get carried away dude. Final poll has 6 ACC teams ranked...only 2 anywhere to be found from the Big XII.;)

Well my Iowa Hawks play Florida in the Outback bowl this year. Florida beat ACC champ Florida St. 34-7 a few weeks ago. This Iowa vs Florida game is a rematch of the same Bowl a few years ago when Iowa embarrassed Florida in their own state. Different year though. Iowa has won 2 straight vs the SEC in bowls (beat LSU last year) so Iowa will definitely have bragging rights on the SEC if they can make it 3. They could end the season on a positive after having a very dissapointing year by their standards.
My point, Florida St. is in a BCS bowl representing the ACC's best, and a team 3 times as good Florida,is in a much lesser bowl. That should say something about the ACC this year. I wish Iowa was playing Florida St instead of Florida that is for sure. ;)

Not about the ACC but the bowl system...what is more interesting is the ACC got an extra bowl slot because the SEC did not have enough bowl eligible teams to fullfill its commitment...go figure.;)

Pack that is what you get with confrence championship games. Upsets happen, remember Texas in 96, A&M in 98, KSU in 2003. If the Big 10 had a championship game, it is very likely that something to this magnitude would happen. This was the first ever ACC championship game, and it was a lot like the first BIG 12 game in that you had a team come into the title game as a big underdog only to win it.
