Today Dimitri Nance the running back from Euless Trinity gained 227 yds. to put himself over the 3000 mark! I don't know the policy on this, but there was no announcement at the game for this achievement. Dimitri is a good kid.
He has a low key personality and works very hard. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching him this year. Yes, Trinity does have an incredible offensive line. But, if any of you have watched him; his greatest runs have come after he has been hit. He amazes us when you think he is lost in a pack of tacklers, then all of a sudden he comes out of nowhere, and starts running down the field. He is not the fast running back as far as speed, but I bet he is the fastest thinker out of every running back in the state. I can't seem to find any weakness in him. On the other thread about who is the MVP, I didn't post anything, because I don't know enough about every player. Dimitri Nance would get my vote if I had a vote.

"We're going to state," Nance said. "I didn't care about scoring touchdowns. I was willing to do whatever it took to get there."

I was told that Nance has committed to Arizona State. Is there any truth to this. At one point, I was told the only interested college was UTEP....DAMN he is good!!

Yeah he committed to ASU after the coach visited him after practice.

Dimitri might be the most underrated 3,000 yard rusher i've ever seen. He is in rare air now and deserves to be mentioned with some of the best the state has ever seen. A lot of people think their grandma could get 1,000 yards behind that o-line but he's made people look pretty bad on his own all year long. Check out the highlights of the El Paso Franklin game at

in the regional round...He put a player on the ground just with some moves of his own. He's the real deal and Judson will be doing good to hold him under 150 next week. He deserves all the respect in the world because he is a humble person who's worked hard for everything he's achieved!

Sat with his Dad at todays game and Arizona St. is his choice. Missouri is trying hard and will spend tommorrow with him, but don't have a chance. Like the previous Trojan guy said he is a very nice down to earth kid that gives his best every play and a great team guy. Handy scored 3 of the 4 tds today and the first player to meet him in the end zone was Dimitri. Dimitri Nance 5A PLAYER OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D :D :D

That couldn't be better said especially if u knew the work he put in each summer to get even better. He went from being a man among boys in junior high to making some adjustments on the varsity level and still being the district's offensive sophmore of the year. Then last year he had a breakout year with almost 1,700 yds while sharing the backfield with 2 other talented backs. And now quite frankly he's left last yr in the dust with 3,000 plus yds and counting, I look forward to his continued elevation of his game.

The thing I like about Nance is that he is always running down hill. Always going forward.....even if he is in the process of stumbling or falling. I think he could be one of the best RBs to play in the state of Texas!!

that guy is really good
probably the best job anyones done against us all year
he had a couple runs where the only thing that stopped him from getting a TD was Spud Thompson chasing him down
