How Do You Think THE VIPERS Will Fare In Football Next Season? Do We Have Any Speed/size ? Any-one Encouraged By The Spring Scrimmage ?

i havent seen Victoria play yet, but they definetly got the speed and size, they got their season back in order late last season and are returning some quality players back from that squad, if im not mistaken, i think their JV was pretty good as well....IMO Victoria is gonna be one of the top 2 teams in region 4 Div I 5A.....Judson will be 1st, with Victoria 2nd, Harlingen 3rd and SA O'Connor 4th.... that is how good i think the Vipers will be next season.

i believe this year we will be a force. our offensive line is awesome. we only lost 2 starters on offense from last year. our defense is returning guys that have expierence and we're bringing up guys from the jv defense that was also very good.

Didn't look too bad in spring scrimmage. JV was 8-2, plenty of talent returning and lots coming up. Looked good in 7 on 7, especially Eagles at QB. Campbell did some housecleaning and seems to have everything intact on staff. We'll definitely make some noise and do some damage this year.

on paper victoria is the team to beat in there district...in the playoffs its anyones game...

Sting2Viper should have the most information since he is IN Victoria and interacts with them. I have sort of been out of the loop since I moved to SA and became a very busy grad student and working full time. I try to keep up :)

My nephew, Michael Nuells, is one of the possible QBs for this season. He will be a JR this year and led the JV last year to an 8-2 finish and was the JV Offensive Player of the Year last season. I don't know the whole situation with Caleb Urban and his injury.

I'm looking forward to this season!

I am a Cy-Fair fan and we face the Vipers to open our season. I am very interested in how our teams will match up. You guys visit out house this year and I must say I wish we were going back to Victoria to play the game again this year. The atmosphere before our game last year was absolutely awesome!

If you are interested, Cy-Fair should have a pretty decent team this year. We have quite a few returning starters on both sides of the ball and are just about as fast and strong as we have ever been.

I hope you guys keep everyone healthy this summer and are able to play us at full strength this year.

Yeah, the CY FAIR game last season was one of the 3 games I got to see last season for the Vipers. I wish I could have seen more, but I don't live in Victoria anymore. The game atmosphere is always awesome in Victoria. That is what I miss about it.

I go to games here in SA but its not the same as watching your hometown team. And the SA fans don't really get into it as much. Except for like Judson and Madison fans. I really like talking to Madison people. They are very nice people. Big city folks don't get into it as much as small town/city people.

I'm gonna try to make more games this season since my nephew is on varsity.
