I turned this ugly puppy off. Hawaii has now been handed its butt for two years in a row. This time at home. This is an ND team that lost to Syracuse!! :eek:

Thats the only way ND could win a bowl game & they're still not a top 40 team.

No. They beat a&m in 93 and then in 94 as well...both in the cotton bowl.

I didn't think that ND would ever get a bowl game win until they got matched up against A&M again.

It may be awile before A&M gets to another bowl.. But with 6-6 teams making it, it may not be long before they start taking 5-7 or 4-8 teams as well.

So is being bowl eligible a loosley used term? I always thought you get 6 games, you would go. Does a 4-8 team really deserve a bowl?

Thats my point. I dont think 6-6 teams should be going to bowl games... Why would you reward mediocrity?

As I said you might as well start letting 5-7 teams go as well.
