I started the TOPIC SLC fans shut up and play the game at SFA.


Well sorry for the post we had a few fans get mad because of the drive and all of that stuff. The truth is that this will be a great game and great talent across the board. SO SLC FANS SORRY FOR THE TOPIC.

Lets just talk football the rest of the Week. herad on the radio that one of the SLC WR got hurt? we lost our QB but we have a good backup that can play.

Yep it was Clint Renfro with an injured collarbone (persisitent injury) and I think they said out for the rest of the season..not sure though. Sorry to hear about your QB is he a JR or SR?

Jeremy is a Jr. Phoenix - thanks for the concern and sorry about Clint as well. As I stated earlier SLC folk - we Lufkin fans are a bit grouchy anyway- we went to bed at 3 am after a long drive -and our MVP qb got hurt - we'll be friendlier the rest of the week.

And Pack98 is the man anyway -- keeping our seas safe with the Navy - even though he wants to be here with the team.

why should they lock it? Your fellow fan, who is a veteran on this board, made a mistake and should have to live with the results. This is why you think before you post.

we get our 3rd time to try to win this game. hope the 3rd time is the sharm.

our secondary will have to be ready this week.

lufkin has been rushing the ball great this playoffs so that is something that we must continue and i know thomas can make plays throwing the ball. the only thing that will have to work on is reading the D's that SLC will throw at us. we loose experince from that stand point. but we gain more Speed in the back field and a player that will step up he is the CF for the baseball team he can play.

CLAYBON will be back next year.

Off-topic but i've read several times that the majority of your team are juniors? If so thats pretty scary haha. We on the other hand are graduating our entire team next year....so at least if you lose next week you have consolation ;) <-- that smiley means sarcasm, as in i'm joking (i've found peopel have trouble interperting the smileys haha)

Phoenix - we only lose two seniors off the offense and it will be lethal next year - defense is another story altogether. Our holes will be on the D side next year - they were the O side this year starting out.

all our o-line is coming back the Rb is back the qb is back the wr dez is back.

i know atleast 8 people on O is back. not sure on D. but like every year Lufkin will be good.

just like other teams around the state. they just reload.

That's partially true. The offense is loaded with underclassmen including the entire O line. The defense has a lot of seniors on it though. So we will be reloading on at least one side of the ball.
