Never going more than 5 years between title games in 5A sure looks good!:D
As hard as it is to get to the title game, I'm very thankful for that!

It would be nice, but we're going to need a FEW special teams TD's. I'll just be glad to win!

What are your thoughts on the game? You were very confident all week and your boys pulled it out.

Yes that is something you did not have the last time you played Judson.

Let me just say the Trinity faithful has a TON of respect for the Judson Rocket program. Last time y'all did what a veteran power should of did and took us to the woodshed. The Judson Rocket Program is in a place in Texas High School Football that would make anybody envious. But there's no doubt that our program has grown tremendously since and as a result of our last encounter. Congrats to the staying power of Judson, ur accomplishments this year will NOT be overlooked.

Let me do some research. I'm not going to give an automatic win to either team.
My thoughts on today's game is that Westfield coasted all year and wasn't ready to pull out a big game. They listened to press clippings too much. I could be wrong, but it seems to me like they never had a killer instinct this year and won on talent and not as much on hard work. Judson was the best team they played all year, but nobody has been giving them credit for the talent they have. You guys had them in the Top 10 to start the year for a reason, but they never got to show it during the season.
I still think Judson can play better than they did today. Trinity is a very worthy opponent for the Rockets.
I need to find my post way back there in September when I said Trinity vs. Judson for the D1 title. If Judson wins next week, I get 3rd in the Bracketmaker contest. I had SV playing Longview for the title back in September. It's kinda funny that I said that stuff, changed my mind during the year and then said the same thing when I did Bracketmaker!:D

Congrats to you guys, too. I like the haka and I've always had a good feeling about you guys winning playoff games. Lineweaver is a real good coach who has lost some heartbreakers.

Your not gonna hang 52 points on Trinity this year!! Matter of fact, get ready for an *** WHUPPIN!!!. These guys are BIG, BAD and FAST. They are the only team that SCARDED us and though we would have beat um. They are the real deal. Get ready. Hide your red headed step children

I look forward to seeing Judson break the state record for most points scored in a championship game by a losing team.
Seriously, 1992 has no meaning to the players on the field; they were small children back then. As I recall, Trinity was very lucky and thrilled just to be in the championship game that year. They hadn't made the playoff in five years, they had a new coach, and with a 5-5 record, nobody expected anything from the Trojans. True, Trinity got beat badly that day, but they came back and went 13-1 in '93, which confirmed that they were for real and did belong with the elite.
Don't confuse 2005 with 1992; if anything, the rolls are reversed.
I expect a very intense game; in 25 years of watching Trinity football, 2005 is the best team the school has ever produced. Whether Trinity is good enough to win it all will be determined in a week.
If I could pick one school for Trinity to win its first championship against, I couldn’t have picked a better school than Judson. Destiny indeed.
Good luck to both schools.

I agree times have changed and Trinity has got a good football team, we all know that it will not be a game like 1992. Good luck to both teams for making it into the finals next week, it should be a classic.
