State champs ? how bad was it?

Watched both games today and found both to be lacking in national strength..what I am saying is with all 4 teams today I was shocked to see them in the state championship...maybe they were all nervous or what have you but this was not the normal texas high school championships as far as caliber of teams...however, congrats to both Allen and Katy for winning...

Teams with good defenses make each other look bad. Teams with no defenses make each other look like world beaters. One team with a defense against somebody with no defense will look awesome.

Are you a fan of harddhitting football, speed, or just good ole fashioned grit? Because none of these were on display Saturday. Who really cares what it may be conceived as?

In the case of the Allen/Hightower game, there was definitely great defense on both sides.
