Due to the large amount of Polynesian students and football players at THS it was an appropriate dance to unify the football team before the games. Too funny!!!! I think Trinity is the only school that PA stadium announcers have to do their homework so they can even come close to pronouncing their names right. We can sure tell which announcers don't.

Neither school wanted to flip home and home, so each chose their neutral site. Judson's was Round Rock. If Consol won the game was also going to be at Round Rock because Judson won that flip, too. suppose to be a great stadium. Hope they can find room for all of the Judson fans and some of the fair weather fans (those who pcked Judson to lose to SW by 3+TD's; haven't seen them on the board yet-hope they go watch SW play lnext week--in basketball).

Game is high Noon. RR's new stadium is suppose to be state of the art. Get there early: Austin area and Christmas shopping traffic may be brutal.

The Haka is never done during the game. It is done before the game just before when the team runs onto the field. It is also done at the end of the game after both teams have played their alma-mater. Anybody in the stands can watch it but the players usually face the Trinity crowd. Some coaches have kept their players in the locker room until we finished but that really isn't necessary.

So if Judson won the toss to get Round Rock, is Trinity on the visitor side?? This is really important as I do not want to get this wrong :eek: .

The awesome 'D' of Judson will not go unnoticed or taken lightly. Looking forward to one of the better state championship games in quite a while. Maybe the best one since 1992 ??

Watched a Georgetown vs McNeil game at RRISD a couple of years ago when it was brand new. It seemed to me just like Waco's stadium but not as nice. My memory ain't all that though, so I could be off.

Either way, it is a huge mass of concrete and it does have the video screen.

WF being shocked is an understatement. The Rocket defense was a work of art. They were the most disciplined I've ever seen at Judson. Back side contain was always there, misdirection only worked once and it turned into a 65 yard TD for the good guys. Gaps were always filledand the DB's did a great job. I truly think WF threw everything they had at the Rocket "D" and they answered the call everytime but once. Preparation was key and the boys responded. The people that never get enough credit for preparing the teams are the scouts. They have to miss the fruits of thier labor every week to scout the next opponent. Next week will be thier reward. They can watch the game live and not have to worry about the following week.

Bullrock..Well put..They brought it to Westfield with no fear..These boys were well prepared..Who else can say we held SW to 9 first downs the entire game and held the powerful offense to 32-74..Rocket Pride is alive and well..A Tidal Wave of Rocket Red is about to cover Round Rock.

I don't think it will take 4 hours to get there from Plano. It takes 2 and a half hours to get there from Euless/Bedford so it should only take an extra 30 minutes from there.

I think this game is going to be very similiar to Judson's last game but with us coming out on top just on the fact that our offense can't be stopped for an entire game or atleast it hasn't come close yet.

That post sounds like an echo from last week. Westfield posters said the same thing about their high powered offense, it was held 27 points under its season average and 300 yards under its season total offense average. and I will make another repeat, you haven't faced a defense like Judson.

Everything points to an outstanding game, which is how it should be at THE DANCE.

Yeah its a huge misconception that Westfield had the best offense in Division 1 we have a significant advantage in every category. Even in our worst games we score 28. However this will be a good game, Judson finally playing with 13 starters back is playing like the team that started in 5atexasfootball's Top 10. But again it wouldn't be wise of Judson to confuse Westfield's offense for Trinity's!

We have great size on in the trenches. I believe we average about 199 lbs. That should be enough to get the job done.

even with out all of the stats both teams have done some thing right to make it to state so spare me the stats and records. if cj was 2-8 and made it to state then you still couldnt say anything cause they would have a lot of luck and some obvious potential so 6-4 means that they are pretty good and going to state means they are real good.

Pretty nice prediction but unacceptable..Ummm, NO not when your ranked 8 or 9 in the nation and second in the state. This game is more than one player and exspecially when your a run team like SW..But regardless he wouldnt have thrown 300 yards on us or ran 300 yards on us by himself and won the game by himself..I think my time is done here..See ya In Round Rock.

even with 1st string QB in there they still didn't get a first down until he left the game in the 2nd Qtr so they shut him down totally in the first Qtr so he wouldn't have made much of a difference sorry to burst your bubble there. After watching the game yesterday if Judson's Defense comes out fired up, it will be a low scoring game not saying who will win but low scoring for sure........

RR stadium is a little like Farris,one of those new hs stadiums.SV played there last year.You`ll have some replays on the big screen.It`s a real roomy stadium.It`s like 15 feet wide from the first row to front rail,with some individual seating at the rail.Top of the line handicap facility.

Sure would have been nice if there was more time between this game and the SV game.Maybe there will be some helicopter taxi rides to the SV game!:D

They lost their quarterback in the second quarter, not first, and againIMO it would not made any difference in the game. At the point he got hurt I think Westfield had 2 yards total at that time. As far as your prediction, go head and predict what you want to, we know we are the underdog once again, but Westfield found out what happens when we become the underdog.

Again, nothing to lose and everything to gain.

And the line still has to block. No SW lineman were injured. With 10-13 supposedly Div. I suspects, I would hope that a team would be able to overcome, especially when 2/3 of the offense was on the ground.

I like this cat and what he's saying. He's right, we just felt a bit slighted when all those Westfield kids were talking mad greasy. Now you don't see one of them.

Since I haven't seen any tape or heard much about Trinity it's hard to knock'em or vice-versa. But they must be fairly good to make it thus far. Any team who makes it to state, and even the semi's is real in my book.

In retrospect, some of our posts look quite familiar to last week's Westfield bunch and we would just be making the same mistake they did.

And to the J-Roc kids, remember we're STILL underdogs this game, so let's keep it that way.
