In just under 1 hour the Celina Bobcats will attempt to get their 9th state title. They already hold the record #8 title.

I think it's fitting that with them being the winningest (state title wise) high school team in the state of Texas, they are closing out the run of high school football in the home of 1 of the winningest NFL teams of all time.

It is absolutely incredible what Celina has achieved. I predict that within 10 years Celina will be 5A school as the DFW Metroplex spreads out in all directions. You could say the Southlake Carroll of the 2020s.

Great 4th qtr. and game! I'm really happy for Carthage to have gotten their first title - it was a shocker to many.
