Holy cow this one really schocked me. It sounded like Plano was just playing on whole other level than SLC. Wow. Hats off, Kudos, and every other accolade to the Plano Wildcats. You came out to play and truly gave SLC their best game of the season (even if the Grapevine game was closer). You definetly have nothing to be ashamed of and I hope several of your posters come back after the game for a "pat-on-the-back." WOW CONGRATS DRAGONS *AND* CATS.

when the trash talk started in the middle of the week, I had all the intentions of posting another thread where all of the quotes are brought up that were made all week by Plano fans. But after the great relationship that the Plano fans and the Carroll fans have had the last two days and how great this game was, I thought otherwise.

Its always better to win with class than to rub someone's nose in it don't you think?

well it is not really classless to bring up trash talk after a game, but since the main Plano fanbase did not trash talk the last two days

I am listening to Tre Newton on the radio.. never heard him before. What a articulate and well mannered young man.... very humble and listen to all the yes sirs and no sirs.

Have they flip for home/home yet?

The radio talked about it but apparently it has not been done yet.

The game sure seemed a lot closer than the stats. 577 total yds for SLC to 318 for Plano; 35 first downs to 14. Newton had 144 yds rushing and 60 receiving. When you look at it the turnovers made all the difference.. one pick returned to the SLC 14 and resulted in a score, another pic at the Plano 8, and almost fumble on 3rd down at the Plano 3 going for an apparent score (winds up at the 20 and a missed 37 yd fg attempt.) Certainly the hitting had something to do with it... particularly the 2nd pic (I think) where receiver was hit hard and ball taken from him. One thing I had not heard from SLC folks..... Coppell is the only team all year to outrush SLC??? Heard that on radio and was quite surprised ... maybe I missed it somewhere.

I really did not think one side trash talked one more than the other (not looking to debate this point). Those from both schools who engaged in trash talk, hopefully were just getting a little carried away.
I personally tend to just ignore it.
Congrats to SLC!
