Well, the pack did it again.

Beating three more centex teams in the playoffs, we are once again the centex champs!:D

Yea, i would say cove is the Centex champs, after all cove is in Centex. You beat 3 centex teams they beat 12.

Oh and you cant be centex champs without beating AMC.

Lufkin, has taken care of Central Texas schools, We were so overrated in thought by some of the people that came on here talking about how there we going to whipp up on the panthers. Well tonight that "DAWG DID NOT HUNT".Cove you have a good team, better luck next year, we will be waiting of course.Looks like the poster had the ratings just about right. There are four teams in D2 standing after this weekend and we were ranked #4 all year long.After loosing out starting QB it made be coming to a close, but we won,t go down without a fight.:D

d1, ok whatever, that may be stupid, but how can you be the Centex champs if you havnt beaten one of the best teams in it?

We are not Cen-Tex champs. Good game from Cove tonight you had a great year, you are well coached team that deserves alot of credit. Good game to watch. Team speed was the difference in this game. Cove has some. but Lufkin has more.

It seems to me that someone (ME) tried to warn the T82's that LP would be the fastest and hardest hitting team they had faced.

I understand their enthusiasm and appreciate the support they give their team. As they continue to make deep runs in the years to come, they will understand more and more that the talent level as the rounds go by increases greatly, and wont just assume that since they ran through Cen-Tex, they they are the fastest cat/dawg in the land.

Congrats Cove. You are the real deal. Best of luck in the future.

Couldn't have said it better KLH - Cove was very worthy, but Lufkin was the better team.

I was very impressed with the Cen-Tex teams this year. For so many years they were almost an afterthought with the exception of Westlake and a few years with Waco doing well. They have shown some real toughness over the past few years.

I do expect Cove to be really competitive over the next few years.

Cove beat AMC and won that district. Who cares anyway?? Lufkin is the region 2 champ for the 4th time in the last 5 years. Lufkin owns region 2. They are a few plays from a 5a dynasty. But SLC has that title.

Damn, SLC has their hands full, hopefully plano can pull it out. If SLC losses, maybe LP can get to the state championship again
