As of Monday afternoon the University of Maryland says it's sold about 16 tickets to the game. The University of Nevada says it's sold 8 so far.

Nevada has sold over 100 tickets and I read earlier where each school only has an allotment of $50 tickets and most fans are either buying the better tickets (Up to $150) or cheaper tickets (Like $15 or $25) directly from the Humanitarian Bowl.

BTW, this is the last year of the ACC tie-in.

I'm going to watch this bowl game now just to see how many tickets were sold...or lack of tickets sold.

Something tells me we won't be getting the Met Life airship shot of the empty stands from above the stadium...:D

Both the bowl and the ACC will be better off as a result. In fairness to the smurf bowl, it has always relied upon mainly local attendance to generate a crowd and preferably one including the home team.
