I can't hold this in any longer I have to say something.

Dear Baylor,

Your stadium freakin' sucks! You charge 9 bucks a head to get into a HS football game? WTF? 9 bucks for my 6 year to sit and read a book for 3 hours? You gotta be kidding me dude. And your luxury seats..............................ummmm lack luxury and comfort. My father-in-law is a Baylor season ticket holder...and told us how horrible these new seats were...but I had no idea they were that bad. Let's just say I have a newly found appreciation for sardines worldwide. They just flat out suck!
You had no instant replays for the entire game. Now I would understand not having replays during a Baylor game...I mean it's bad enough the first time...no need to watch it 3 times from 3 different angles. But this is a HS game...that you just charged folks 9 bucks to see. Fire that bad boy and let's see some replays for the love of football. I have never been more uncomfortable in my life....I caught like 5 cramps...

Tickets for myself,my wife and my two daughters - $36
Two corn dogs and two sodas- $14
Total- $50
thank goodness we brought crackers and cheese and juice for the kids...and Pack0808 hooked me and my son up with some peanuts...otherwise I could have dropped $70+ at a HS football game.

Think about the Lp fans that took off work early to make it to this game...they lost money at work...they had to pay for gas...then they show up at "The Floyd" errrr "The Suck" and get worked by the blue-haired lady at the ticket window.

I am now a Waco resident....and I will not shut up about this...ever. This is just ridiculous.

I know...I know...Texas Stadium is worse....well if you show up at Jerry's house expecting a bargain...You deserve to get ripped off.

Considering the fact that we paid a total of $55 for tickets,2 sodas, and popcorn to watch the Longhorns play there a month ago....I'd say paying $5 less to watch a freakin' HS game is a ripoff.

Waco ISD is charging $12 for tomorrows game and they are also charging $3 for parking. That's even worse than what you paid tonight.

Since it was Baylor, did the blue-haired lady have a "bun", too!:p

An alternative would've been for the 22K to spread out a little and not sit so close. I can't speak about the seats because I haven't been since 1992.

They don't do instant replay in the Alamodome, either. Wait, that's because San Antonio is cheap. They get that $8 for parking, though!

Well, maybe, i sat around a bunch of kids. I also remember someone who was really really loud. I know everyone was loud but this person really stuck out. I also sat next to some really old people. like 90

I agree about the seats having absolutely no legroom, but I was very happy to pay $9 for that game. It's a nice place to watch a game, and the concessions are much more reasonable than what I've been paying at Texas Stadium this postseason.

All in all, my experience at Floyd Casey was a good one.

They had the replay working for the Carroll game last week and the screen was amazing. I never buy concessions in a stadium, so I would not know abou the prices. I got my ticket early and paid $8, I think students pay $6 but I may be mistaken. I thought Floyd Casey was one of the best venues, but if that screen is not showing awesome replays, then it would probably not be the best. Atleast parking is free

You're reputation preceeds you!
Hi, Wide. I had a great time at the game. It was a bummer when the QB left the game. Hate to see kids getting hurt. Speaking of hurt, my arse, knees, legs and ankles hurt after sitting in that lousy stadium. That place would be uncomfortable for the Munchkins!! Are people that small in Waco? Ditto to everything you complained about regarding Phlegm Casey.
On a more positive note, we Katy-ites really enjoyed the game and the Lufkin fans. It was worth the drive and ticket price to sit with a great bunch of people and see a great football game. I don't think Cove has anything to be ashamed of. They put up a good fight. A punt return and one play from scrimmage got them back in the game. I didn't think Cove's defense was wrapping up well and tackling like they should. Their crowd wasn't as large as ya'lls but they were effective noise-makers. Lufkins D did appear to drop the intensity level during the second half. I couldn't understand that. Anyway, it was good to meet some of you Lufkin 5A Forum posters and maybe next year we'll sit on Cove's side. Back to icing down my knees.

wide, next week, call your buddy 08 and have him buy some of the lp tickets. not only are they cheaper but the money goes to lp rather than the general fund. i personally love the floyd as i get to constantly compare it to the septic system that is texas stadium.

they had replays at our game last week and it created lots of heartburn as the fans got multiple views of how the refs blew several makeable calls. maybe the refs petitioned to not use them so at least there would be some doubt about the errors.

What a terrible game to have no instant replay - no fewer than 30 worthy replays - otherwise I like the Floyd - what an atmosphere last night. We could have squeezed into WISD - but it would have been tight. We ate at McAlisters Deli before the game - decent food and lots of Baylor kids.

I'm thinking that they didn't have replays because the Baylor women's basketball team had a big game last night against Washington. I'm thinking the same media group that does Floyd Casey also has to do the Baylor games.

That's fairly weak in the excuse area - whatever. would have been icing on the cake to watch some of those plays over.

Did not get to talk to them as much as i wanted but they are good guys like i knew they would be.
