I was going to give my take on the Louisiana roster for the Bayou Bowl, but I was unable to find it anywhere.

Actually LoboFan07,
We have been approved to do the broadcast. But there are still a couple hurdles left to get it done. When these hurdles get cleared then an announcement will be made official.

Mr. Cleannnnn.. you can find the Louisiana roster on the Bayou Bowl website. Just like the last couple of Bayou Bowls. Looks like alot of Southern Louisiana kids against mostly Houston area kids.

I think the game is coming on Foxsports this Saturday at 8 pm.

Looks like a nice showing of Louisiana players, if most of them appear. The roster listed on the site looks like it was compiled awhile back, because most of the players who are listed as undecided for college have signed with schools.

Probably is.. I know last year I was at the game and they had a couple of Evangel kids on the roster that didnt play in the game. I think both teams probably have a few kids that will be no-shows and have a few kids that have the typical last second call-up to come play. It was fun game last year even though both teams didnt have a QB.

Last year the DT from Galveston Ball (Oklahoma St)- Walter Thomas (6-5/340) was a man child. He made like every other tackle for the Texas team and showed that for a huge young man he had some wheels.

Should be another fun game that will look like alot of very talented kids that havent played football for 6 months. Like most summer All-Star games.

Texas offense in the Bayou Bowl has the natural ability to be very dangerous if they can get some plays down during practice this week.

QB- Jerod Walker (Utah St)
RB- Omar Conteh (Northwestern)
Wr- Brandon Lafel (LSU)
Wr- Ricky Price (Okla St)
Wr- Catron Houston (Tx Tech)

plus, the Jordan kid from Friendswood (4A) can throw it. He had a nice Senior year there ( 117-228-1,797 yds - 19 tds - 5 int ).
