Some of you know the story…
Ms mad…not to be outdone by old men…had colon cancer in her 30’s…that was 13 years ago…
She’s competitive that way…

After a trip to the ER at midnight on Sunday and a visit with her regular doctor on Monday…ms mad was admitted to the hospital through the ER this evening…with a bowel obstruction…

Your thoughts and prayers will be read to her…

This post should be wherever you want it to be...ON every topic board if you ask me, too many prayers is never the case. The more the better!

My families prayers are with you and your family sir! Let us know if we can help in any way, we all love to post on here so that kind of makes us a biiiiiiiiggggg family! Keep your head up, God WILL work his magic.

My favorite verse, Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean NOT on your own understanding, but acknowledge him in all your ways, and he shall set your paths straight."

Life is a game of sorts...and I believe the posters here probably play it better than the general population...

Mad, my prayers go out to you.

Hebrews 11:1-3 (NIV...not my favorite translation but I thought it went well with the situation here)

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible."

It is comforting to know that God is in command. Whether it be tough times or everything going just peachy...He is in command.

Know that you are loved and being prayed for.

God Bless.

That is the verse to lean on. Trust and pray that she'll be OK. We're praying with you, but it's primarily on your faith and her faith that healing will come. It doesn't matter that you're Catholic or what Bible-based denomination she chooses. God's Word is His Word. If you trust and believe, he'll answer in His time. Our timing is not God's timing. Many times He doesn't answer when WE want Him to, but He answers when He needs to and always just in time.

Thank you for this thread, all of us are part of a family and families rally around each other in times of need. Our prayers and thoughts will be lifted up for Ms. Mad. Please keep us informed and make sure that if there is anything that you need, you simply ask us for.

May the hand of God be upon those attending to Ms Mad. Relieve her of her pain and restore her health. Through him, I ask this prayer. Amen.

The morning prayer in our home included a request that God bring comfort, ease of pain, and healing to Ms. Mad; to please bring strength, patience, and rest for Mr. Mad; but most importantly to bless and guide quickly those that are diagnosing, treating, and providing care for Ms. Mad that He work through their hands to heal.

Then, I had to explain to this kid in our house why someone is Mad and we are praying for Mr. and Ms. Mad. Then, "Well, why are they Mad?" Gotta love the innocence.

We hope she heals quickly. You both have our prayers.

We may never know why things like this come into our lives but... "Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13:13.

Mad -Your Faith will guide her, Your Hope will comfort her, and Your Love will ease her pain during these challenging times. Many prayers.

Who cares if it should be on here or not, this is a pretty serious issue and I do not think that anyone is going to give you a hard time where you should post this.

I do not know ms mad but tell her my family and my prayers are with her. She is a passionate football fan and that is good enough for me. No one at any age deserves that and I hope to see her posting again soon.

Mad.. I'm deeply saddened to here this.. And yet rest comfortably this morning knowing that you have reached thousands of family members on here by telling the story and asking for help...

I will pray for her as well as you and your family.. I wanted to share a few verses that I turn to when things go wrong in life.....

"the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:15).

Jesus said to his disciples, "Don't be worried! Have faith in God and have faith in me." (John 14:1)

God cares for you, so turn all your worries over to him. (Peter 5:7)

But he replied, "My kindness is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak," So if Christ keeps giving me his power, I will gladly brag about how weak I am. (II Corinthians 12:9)

If you have faith when you pray for the sick people, they will get well. The Lord will heal them, and if they haved sinned, he will forgive them. (James 5:14-15)

Ms. Mad.. I pray for you this morning upon hearing this sad news, I hope you get well very soon.. My heart will be heavy for you and Mad.. A minute will not go by that I do not think of you and what you are dealing with.. If you are anything like the one who asks.. Then you are strong and compasionate.. Rest well my lady and fight hard.. And know that every step through this situation will not be taken alone.

Mad.. Stay strong my brother.. Be assured that I will be thinking of you as well.. Get rest.. Dont run yourself down, as she will need you to be strong in the weakest of moments.. You are a good man, and I will not let my mind stop thinking of the battle you are facing with her.. Just know that anything you need will be here if you ask for it. Take care my friend.

Your thoughts and prayers will be read to her…
You and your wife are in my prayers. I know how scary that can be. "Courage is just fear that has said it's prayers." That has gotten me through a lot. Let us know how she is doing, and don't take it off here. With the playoffs less people are in the yard, and the more people that see it the more prayers she'll get. :)

Mad, I've walked the path you're walking now. While this path is rough and tiresome it's required because it is His plan, not ours. Good will come of this, regardless. Ms. Mad will be fine. Rest your mind and body while knowing that. From one Catholic to another, I feel your pain and I'm sure all the other posters do as well regardless of their faith or denomination.
Pray and pray often for fast healing. When you get tired please know that we fellow posters got your back and have you covered with prayers.
