I said a few weeks ago that 2008 would do down in Texas history as the year of the hurricane. It started when the Hightower Hurricanes defeated IKE. Then a few weeks later we get hit by a hurricane named IKE. Then a few weeks after that that hurricane from Hightower blew into Pasadena Mermorial stadium and sent them pony's running from the playoff. And as if that was enough they showed eveyone just like IKE did of what a hurricane can do to an oiler. They've either gotten really lucky or they truly are a team of destiny.

Hightower, you guys impressed me with the long passes you were able to complete against Pearland. That made all the difference, because it opened up running lanes and kept them from loading the box. Keep it up this week, and you guys will be playing for a State title.
Your defense is fast from sideline to sideline, and you play pass defense well, too.

Hightower has to much SPEED and SPEED kills! Plus they are also bigger and have better balance!

I am sure that is true. I'm just saying that nobody has given us a chance so far and we are still playing football.
