In all honesty I was very impressed by Allen this evening. ET is a very good program. Coach W congrats on a well played game. The eagles were well prepared and ready to play. It is hard to lose. But, Allen was/is the better team. They played as a team and didn't make the mistakes. Trinity did have a lot of uncharacteristic mistakes but that doesn't make Allen the lesser team.

Allen was the better team today, and today is all that matters. Therefore, they are the better team. There was never a doubt who was in control. I was really disappointed in Trinity today. I know what they showed was not their true game with turnovers and major penalties coming in some very untimely situations. Allen was better in all phases of the game....ALLEN IS BETTER.

Very impressive win for Allen. What a season! After last year, the Defense totally turned around, you lose your starting QB and still pull it out, and own the game. You must be very proud tonight, and no matter what happens after this, you proved a lot of people wrong tonight.

Trinity, you know from personal experience it is very difficult to beat a good team twice in a season. I know this hurts very much right now, but after a few days you will be able to turn around and enjoy the incredible season you have had this year. You also have a lot of depth and a lot to look forward to next year.

I will add, 8-5A looks to have been the toughest district this year.

I truly learned something earlier this past week . . . . . .

I sat there tonight . . . . waiting for Trinity to wake up and start slugging.
At NO time was I comfortable with any lead we had. My 9 year old stood up on the seat and said,
"This looks really good for us, doen't it dad?!"
I told him that Trinity was going to come back so don't start talking like that.
When Trinity got that on-side kick I almost Soiled myself! I thought, "Crap! Here we go!"

I can't really say anything to you Trinity fans . . . . . .
other than THANK YOU for a great experience.

What a great build up to a great game.

I know our Trinity brother's and sister's hearts are heavy right now.

Congrats to the best team Allen......they played a great game...I wish them well.....the teams we lost to in the past have ended up state champs.....don't let us down......was in the THS locker room before the game and as a former coach wanted to see what was said and how the team was getting ready mentally......how do you prepare a team to play the buzz saw that was waiting for them!!!!!!!!...it seemed normal but I saw Allen really up for the game....I did not see that in the locker room.....
I guess if I knew how to prepare kids for big games I would still be coaching.....Until we meet again I wish you and your school the best....good luck and get after them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well glad to see all the good sports owning up to picking the wrong team this week.

I don't think we would have done as well for sure yesterday without having played Trinity in non-district? Playing that game helped Allen progress through the season to be where they are.

Trinity is a great progam which made the win that much sweeter. I'm sure Trinity will be back next year in all their greatness.

Congratulations to Allen on a well played game!

The only thing that makes the end of our season easier is knowing that we were beat by an exceptionally good team. Not many teams can say that a second string QB can step in and not miss a beat. I watched a totally different team play Saturday and they deserve the win.

I will not come on here and say " Allen wanted it more!" because that is just simply not the case. As I looked my son and daughter(a trainer on the team) in the eyes, it was clear that they really wanted this win!

** Note to all of the parents of players still playing, stop and pause to take in every minute, because it really sucks to wake up and realize that it all ended yesterday!**
