Is Tech the new "aggy"?

Before Dawgfan freaks out, let me clarify. Remember back during the end of the RC regime and start of the Fran regime was A&M was decent, but very over-hyped simply because of who they were. They would win an impressive game or two, but were for the most part nationally irrelevant. Sounds almost identical to Tech now. A couple of good wins and one good season and all of a sudden they are relevant. A&M went from being occasionally good to consistently bad almost overnight and it looks like Tech is headed that way.

There are a lot of other things pointing to Tech's new found aggydom outside of their sudden rise to fictional relevance. They have a decent head coach who is all but breaking down doors to get another job. Seriously, 4 job searches in 3 years is not "negotiating" or "kicking the tires"... it's flat out desperation. And you can't blame Leach. The guy may not know a defense if it bit him in the hand, but he knows he'll never compete where he's at. He knows this year was the best team he could ever hope to assemble at that pizza college and that was still only good enough for 3rd in his own division.

Then you have fan behavior. Seriously... who is more aggy than lonny? I would accuse him of drinking the kool-aid, but at this point I think he's just taking the powder and snorting it. Then you have slorch... lonny lite. And I know it's not fair to thrust every tard under lonny's shadow, but a vast majority of the tards here and elsewhere have exhibited similar aggyish symptoms. The final straw might have been the laughable "Big XII South Champions" t-shirts which are aggyier than squeezing milkmen.

In closing, Aggie fans... you're off the hook. You're now the new Baylor, but we have a new "aggy" and it belongs to Pizza Delivery U. and it's wacky, tortilla obsessed fans.

Upon being reminded that Tech finished tied with Texas and won the head-to-head, many replied, "Well that's only by record." If that reply ain't aggy, I guess I don't know what would be. You play football for wins and losses, right?

Enjoy your season and appreciate the influence you do have. As a three way tie finisher, I understand using the BCS to break the tie and UT going to a BCS game ahead of Tech. Enjoy your season and appreciate the influence you do have. As a three way tie finisher, I understand using the BCS to break the tie and UT going to a BCS game ahead of Tech. If OU loses, it should rightfully be Tech's, especially after all of these orangees spouting off relentlessly about head-to-head tie breakers.
