Here's news that most saw coming about someone actually leaving their current school. Mike Goodson is not returning. I can't say that I blame him and wish him best of luck. Too bad we never got to see all he could do.

if he does leave that is up to him but the only one he is really hurting is himself. I am a firm believer that if someone doesn't want to be on your team...get rid of him. Shame because he showed some talent. I like Cyrus Gray just fine at TB.

Can you imagine things from his perspective?? He had a horrid of a coach, for 2 years, that used a Pocket-QB to run a Shotgun Option. Those 2 teams were bad, but neither of them compared to the current team. Simply put, he's seen nothing good, at all, in College Station.
Cyrus' potential is great. His potential under Sherminot is much lower, IMO. I mean c'mon, dude... Arkansas State??

Heck, I don't blame the guy for leaving...other guys on that team may have been better off doing the same thing. Good luck to him.

you mean the game where A & M missed 3 field goals? BFD ask Michigan if they can have a bad game against an opponent ranked lower then themselves

Goodson is in a lose/lose situation. His draft stock is virtually non-existent, but wasn't likely to improve next season. He can enter the draft and be, at best, a late round draft pick or he can play his senior season at a 1AA, have a big season and hope to maybe move up to a mid-round draft pick. Part of me wants to feel bad for the kid, but he chose to go to the football graveyard. It's unfortunate, but we have seen this exact same situation play out at A&M for more players than I can even begin to count. So much promise... so much disappointment.

Ooooo, careful, Firebird. He might either make up some oh so clever nickname to always call you, might post pictures and scores that have nothing to do with the discussion, claim you're obsessed with him and following him around, etc. :D

It was "DIAF ASAP". See the space in between, when you start taking 1st grade English, you'll learn why that little space is critical.
And FireFAIL tipped you off about the "you're". I tested you. You're way too stupid to have picked up on that by yourself.

If they teach spaces in first grade English, when do they teach contractions? :D
