Cotton Bowl Suspends Ticket Sales...

Cotton Bowl announced today that they will suspend the ticket sales until both teams are invited to the cotton bowl classic.

The Big 12 side is sold out, and there are only aprox 1500 tickets left for the SEC side. The thing is though.... SEC fans are not the ones buying the tickets... its the Texas Tech fans. SEC complained because both schools are not getting an equal shot at tickets since Tech is pretty much a shoe in. They will resume ticket sales on the 4th.

I am all for it. Its Texas, and a Texas team in playing in the Cotton Bowl. Buy up the SEC tickets tech fans!!

I agree for the most part.. Except that I watched a pass happy Arizona St team pass for about 10,000 yards on LSU defense this season. Arizona St defense isnt as good as Tx Tech defense.

I think LSU is better then Tx Tech.. but it wouldnt be a blowout in my opinion. It would probably be one of these 35-24 type of games with anywhere from a (10 to 14 pt spread). Blowout game... dont see it.

TT could not beat LSU this. I can't help that. I am not even what I would consider a fan of any college ball. But certainly not LSU. Either way, Tech couldn't beat them. We'll never know because LSU is gonna beat Georgia.

PS, Your opinion went out the window when after hearing you blab about Longview taking everyone and then they go 1 and out in playoffs. So no, your opinion is crap. It's funny that everytime I happen to catch part of college tv talk junk, they are always talking about how strong SEC defenses are this year. Why's that? Because everyone but TexasFrog is f.o.s.?

To clear things up, I'm not insulting anybody. But I do think that there are way too many instances of needless chest pounding. So everyone is clear, I don't get it, so it is strange to me. I can honestly say I don't think I've seen any team look so completely lost on the field. I didn't get home until just before the half.

I saw the QB go out with some injury. I was really hoping that the backup would come out and do some good. That way the starter would lose his job for good maybe.
They just looked like they had never played the game or something. All the penalties were just way too much. A top 5 ranked team should not play that crappy. They evidently did not deserve to be ranked where they were and that being said, it's good that they lost.

As I stated before, I don't keep up too much with college ball, but I really figured after hearing all the espn people talking and seeing LSU play a few games this year that they were better than that. I was bad wrong.

Yes, La has a QB there. This is his first year. I don't know his status, but he came from East St. John. JD Booty never wanted to got here. LSU screwed his 2 older brothers so bad, he had no interest. Plus, LSU doesn't pass enough for him. I think he went to USC because they're on top.
