TH, I didn't know you liked Texas Country? Thought it was just hip hop. Do you listen to any of these.... Cross Canadian Ragweed, Randy Rodgers Band, Kevin Fowler, Reckless Kelly, Robert Earl Keen?

HIP HOP IS DEAD!
I like ALL the people/bands you listed.
CCRW new song Fighting For is one of my favs.
The ONLY rap I listen to is Paul Wall. I use to like Mike Jones and Chamillionaire but they are weak now.
Paul Wall is NOT hip hop. He actual rap.
Hip Hop crap like 50 cent, ja rule, diddy, etc make me sick

Bobby Keen is awesome as is Ray Wylie Hubbard. Give me the Highwaymen any day of the week as well as some Bleu Edmondson Roger Creager, Randy Rogers, Max Stallings, Mark David Manders, Stoney LaRue, Cooder Graw and Jason Boland.
Up here in the metroplex we have some great stations in 95.3 the Range and 95.9 the Ranch.

LMAO, my bad TH, I am merely a country white boy. Don't know the correct lingo for the rap world. That is what I meant though. I still like Mike Jones and Chamillionaire somewhat. Paul Wall is the man, especially because he is representin for TX and white folks. Don't like any of that other stuff.
But yeah, I feel ya on this TX country, it is soo much better than the mainstreem. You must be one cool dude. Here at school, no one listens to this stuff who isn't from our Central Texas area. A bunch of people from Houston here who haven't even heard of this but I am enlightening them.Do you ever go to CCRW concerts and what not? I seen CCRW at Cowboys the other night but prefer to see them at smaller places like Gruene Dancehall and in NB. I love that music. It is great.

I was listening to that song Texas earlier by Goerge Straight I believe and it got me to thinking... I think God I was born in Texas. There is nothing like Texas. Texas music, Texas women, Texas football, Texas people... it is the best. Here is to being born in Texas. Thank God for Texas.

It's still stupid that Houston doesn't have a Texas country radio station. Hell, out here in AZ, I have to deal with the new country station that plays early 90s country (which isn't bad, better than mainstream crap from this year).
Pat Green is playing in Tempe Sunday though, I will be there for sure. I saw Randy Rogers in Katy over Thanksgiving, that was an awesome show.

Paul Wall... I am rolling...I went to the webisite, got to listen to the song and watch the little video.. That is by far one the funniest things I've seen in a While.
The term "3rd Coast" was created by MC Thick of Marerro Louisiana back in the early 90's. I haven't heard that term in a while.
PaulWall is a b!t(T. He has no more talent than any of the other punks that talk that same crap. The music is completely ZERO talent. I hear the song once, turned on my little Yamaha keyboard and hat the music going within about 3 mins.
That really is the very last thing we need now. Another punk with some electronically generated riffs and talking about how kool they are. What a waste. And people actually listen to that crap??? That's pretty funny.. Houston is in worse shape than I thought...

Yea, I go out to Gruene every once in a while.
I use to go to the Countly Line off I10 each Wednesday night because KJ 97 had a concert series going on. I think it starts back up in January(I hope so).
They had some great bands come there back in Octobor and September.
Randy Rogers, Roger Craiger, Aaron Watson.
Really great music.

Gruene Hall is great indeed. So is this Great State.
I wish we had a station here in the Houston area. That is one of my favorite things about visiting the Hill Country, the radio stations.

Yea, was listening to the new station today. Loved it..heard Cory, Creager, CCRW, Randy and Rogers all in about in a hour and a half.
Too bad they don't have as many good venues as the Houston area does. No one really visits SA on there tour stops. Houston usually has people at the Firehouse Saloon every day of week.
County Line is a horrible place for a concert. I mean...horrible.

Anyone like Chris Knight? he isnt from Texas but he plays here a lot, in fact he plays in Denton about 5x a year. He might be my favorite artist right now. His song writing ability is amazing, I can honestly say I have never heard a bad song from this guy and I have all 3 of his albums.

texas country is awesome. there are a bunch of genres of music that are awesome I just perfer texas country and 80's rock over the others. Phil Pretchett is awesome. Im not a big Reckless Kelly fan or Cross Canadian fan, and I hate Pat Green. However I love Robert Earl, Jason Boland, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Darryl Dodd and many many more. The Randy Rogers band is playing in Denton next week, so that shuld be a great show with gorgeous women everywhere.

I've known Jimmy Wayne since the second grade
When his mom and him moved in from Copperas Cove
We've always chased the girls down in Uvalde
Don't see why he needs him one in San Antone
On the first date, they went dancing at a VFW
A rough spot for such a cultured pearl
She matched him beer for beer, and she could polka
So he fell in love with that San Antonio girl

Thanks man but yeah, no kidding. I flipped over and went into a fence... this pole slammed through my window and was like 2 inches away from slamming into my head. It would have for sure killed me. I was saying my prayers and counting my blessings.I would put the pic of my arm up on here but it seems impossible to post a pic on here. The whole time I was just telling the paramedics I didnt want to lose my arm. I was kind of in shock because of all the blood. Turns out, I just needed a bunch of staples in it. Don't know what I would do without my arm.

Well, it was in Seguin. I was home for thanksgiving. Met some girl at Seguin High School because we were going to the Spurs vs. Bulls game on Friday night and taking her car. Dropped my car off, went to the spurs game, had a great night. She drops me off, I turn out of the parking lot to get on 10 and head to McQueeney.... I turn the corner to fast and the road was wet.. and the rest was history.
