Just Got Back From The Stones Concert. I Was Sitting In The 15 Row Right Of The Stage And Walkway And I Swear I Am Not Making This Up But Mick Mentioned That He Was Excited To Be In Dallas Home Of The Cowboys, Mavericks, George Bush And The Plano Wildcats And He Went On To Say He Expected Them To Beat Slc This Weekend.
The Aac Cheered Trhe First Two, Booed The Third And Cheered Wildly For The 4th.
Craziest Thing I Ever Heard And Saw!!
I Figure The Greatest Rock And Roll Front Man!! Is Rooting For Plano They Can't Lose! Its In The Stars:d
Start Me Up!! :d

Bush isn't from Dallas and Plano would be very fortunate to keep this game within 4 TDs. Jagger also picked Philadelphia in last year's Super Bowl. ;)

Here's some Rolling Stones trivia for ya:
What High School here in Texas did Mick Jagger's (now previous?) wife Jeri Hall graduate from?
Drum roll...
North Mesquite.
That said, I've never been that fond of their Music.

Its sad the crowd in Dallas booed the president....as far as his (Jagger) football expertise, well, he's a pretty good rock n roller!

What does jagger know - he is Brit and all Brits think a football is round. He was probably talking about the Plano soccer team. If not, then Mick was definitely smoking before the concert and I do not mean cigarettes.

Since Mick is in a band, he probably meant that Plano's band would outduel SLC band at halftime. That has to be it, because I know for a fact that I saw him put $20.00 on SLC before the concert.

Hey! They play rugby there and that is football without pads or a helmet. Rough game. So don't diss the British, they have great sports and great people.

I saw on some other board that someone from Garland was claiming her.... was it really North Mesquite?

Jagger probably thinks this is the 80's still and thinks he is cheering for a different Plano team. I am sure he has smoked the left handed cig a little too much. :):)

And Johnny Yong Bosch! ;) For those who dont know who that is, he was the "Black Power Ranger" in the original series. :) What celebs we have.
Maybe Jager can stand on the sidelines with Micheal Irving during Saturdays game! :D Sorry :o I had to do that. I actually like the Stone's music. I'm sure a live concert would be great. I heard yesterday the Stones were this years halftime at the Super Bowl. I guess nibblegate is just not the same when it's Keith Richards nibbles showing.

Cool, he was a regular at my house when my kids were small. But you know, everyone wants to be like Tommy! Even though it was a stupid show, I loved to watch it with the kids. It would really make me more productive at work if I could morph like that. Maybe if I stayed off these sites more I could get something done. ;) Naaa, it's still football season.

My cultured taste in music is what leads me to the conclusion that the stones suck. I keep hoping one of them will die and they will go away.
I've heard garage bands that were 10X better than the stones...

the fact that you've heard garbage bands speaks volumns by itself.

It sure does. You cant limit yourself to only what is on the radio. You have to get out there in the real world where every band may not know somebody who can finance them for a cd.
The fact that you would consider a garage band a garbage band speaks volumes by itself.

i misread garbage. sorry. everyone starts somewhere. i assumed it was some genre. i know i've been accosted with enough garbage in parking lots and in my own home to be able to recognize garbage when i hear it.

Mick Jagger: good music, horrific role model (the worst).
I'm guessing he thinks Plano and SLC will be kicking a black and white spotted ball around the pitch on Saturday on their way to the cup final.

gah. seriously. i dare you to stare southlake and their team's records and stats in the face and say you have even a chance of beating them.
it doesnt matter what one man says of the outcome of a game. no man's prediction can alter the course of a football game prior to its play.
and what jurisdiction does mick jagger have in the game of football, anyway :p
seriously, and from britain too.
i would hardly take his words to heart.
he just wanted to say something that would raise the spirits of the people. and that's admirable, no doubt.
but, who knows. it will be a great game.

and dude...it doesnt work that way. you can't force your own tastes and norms on others. besides, its a little presumptuous to trash a band that has been renowned by thousands, perhaps millions, for years.
everyone is different and it would do society well to realize that and has some tolerance.

Is this serious - he mentioned Plano? I do know some friends that partied with Jeri and Mick back in the 80's or 90's on some ranch near Greenville.
