Pep Rally

dragon fans can you enlighten me on the whole situation here..

this is what i know..

it was a national pep rally for our Cross Country team, sponsered by nike

they gave out shirts with southlake spelled wrong, they put the a space in between...

i heard its only for 4 schools in the nation? and will this be on tv or anything, details would be helpful

i wasn't there...off blocks rock!

i just know nike put it on...people won free stuff...they recognized brooke and miranda, and the team got invited to some national tournament that kevin ondrosak did last year...not much to it, it wasnt a REAL pep rally, more of an assembly, the real pep rally will be friday.

Becaus the girls won state, & 3 of our girls finished in the top 4, they were invited to this National Meet, put on by Nike..it's kind of like the Elite 11 for QB's put on every summer...

i glad that the cross county team got some long overdue recognition. They won state a couple times and no one really talks about them. Besides it was nice to sit down for a pep rally for once.

you are lucky that the kids at the football pep rallys stand. I remember just a few years ago the students sat through an entire pep rally and I even saw some kids that were reading books or using a lap top. I could not believe it. They did not even stand for the fight song

No boys team isn't going - they did go last year though.
