Although this post will generate a mountain of hate mail from SLC fans.

If Plano and Lufkin advance will the game be held Waco again?

Remember our boys want revenge on Lufkin just as much as Lufkin on SLC or Katy on SLC.

So don't count the Cats out this team believes it can win on Sat.

Actually - it would be Lufkin on SLC, SLC on Katy and Katy on Lufkin. That pretty much covers everyone but CCove.

Yes - I would think a Plano/Lufkin match-up would be also at Floyd Casey - and Plano would definitely be eyeing a revenge game against the Pack.

Why would Katy want revenge on SLC? We have the trophy and bragging rights until the tables are turned. That's if and when.

yes you have the trophy from 2003, its 2005 and SLC is the defending state champs.

EZ Wildcat Fan.....

Having seen Plano, LP, and SLC in action this year, my best advise to your team is to focus on this weekends game. Congrats on a GREAT year, you guys have a super good team. However, I think basketball season starts on Monday for the Wildcats, especially if they even remotely start to focus on a possible rematch with THE PACK.

The Dragons are specialist at ending seasons and stealing dreams. Your boys better be sharpening their swords, or Saturday will not be any fun.

Actually, Brence's shell just before half when they didn't get a first down and let LP score again cost Plano in that game.

No way would we play at Homer Bryce. 20 min from Lufkin. I don't think so. I don't know what came over South Garland to do that, but one of our coach's is from that part of the world and wouldn't go for it. Now, Rose Stadium in Tyler? or SMU's Ford? Maybe.

I believe there was a penalty or two that hurt us bad, but no excuses the better team won that night!

I still remember Reggie had a run where he ran out of the pocket and hit the corner and shifted into another gear that I had never seen before out of anyone except him. Then he outran everyone and coasted into the endzone. Thats one of my favorite Reggie plays of all-time.

it's not so much that slc doesn't care about this game...oh yes it is. sorry.

Yep,Lufkin should win pretty easy unless they make stupid mistakes like last week.No penalties please.:o

i would not say so easy..Cove is a tough team on both sides of the ball...26 wins, no losses between the two teams...should come down to mistakes...that's it.

There is no chance that High School Football will be played at Floyd Casey on Saturday, December 10th, becuase there will be a military welcoming ceremony from Iraq.

Cove FB, no one here in Lufkin are under estimating the Cove Bulldawgs and if they are, they are not very smart. Most of the people talking on this thread don't speak for Lufkin because they are from Plano or Southlake. Maybe , they are the ones who are not giving Cove their respect and are doing the underestimating here. Most of the Lufkin fans are intelligent enough to know the Cove game will be a tough fight for the Panthers. I really do hate these type of threads.

By the way Plano, you had better watch your back because you guys don't have much of a cakewalk, so wouldn't worry about anyone else right now. I can guarantee lufkin is only thinking about Copperas Cove, they don't care who they could play next.

I am pretty sure that Wildcat players and coaches don't base any preparation on anything that is being posted on this site. Or for that matter 99.9% of the fans. This is just a what if. No one is looking past the dragoons.:D
