Here's a nice article about Harrell in the Abilene rag. I haven't said much on the topic, but I'd vote Harrell for the Heisman if I had a vote. He has a better argument than D-Mac had last year when he went 8-4. Besides putting up great passing numbers for me it comes down to who has the worst talent around them and made it to 11-1:

Harrell
Tebow
McCoy
Bradford

Harrell did just as much with less and should get the trophy. I don't think he will, but I think he deserves it. If the other guys had a better record, I'd support them.

I'm shocked. No, really, I'm stunned.

Here's another tidbit. I knew Harrell was hurting, but it was worse than I knew about.

Harrell has about 1000 more passing yards than Colt McCoy, doesn't he?

Harrell has almost 200 more pass attempts, doesn't he?

I guess he's working harder, then. ;)

You would be too if you were having to overcome Leach's coaching incompetence. Harrell is a noodle-armed saint who will put on a show in Dallas.

I know you like to give Harrell a hard time, but you also recognize toughness, if not cheap shots...

Harrell played the second half of the Baylor game with 9 different breaks in his his left( non-throwing) hand. they did a 4 hour surgery yesterday and inserted 2 plates and a bunch of pins into his shattered bones.

I really thought Potts was coming in starting the second half, but I had no idea Harrell was hurt that badly. for all of the press he gets for being a wuss, seems he's got a little Sammy Baugh in him after all. Graham Harrell toughed it out and lead the Red Raiders to the comeback win.

The guy has frustrated the hell out of me at times, and can act like he got tazed when a DT bumps him after the throw... I have a new respect for Harrell after Saturday's gut check.

I've always thought Harrell was a physically tough kid. He's mentally weak at times, but the kid drops back and throws the ball more than 600 times a season. I don't think people realize how physically hard that is.

05 55
06 617
07 713
08 568

I don't think Harrell is as mentally weak as he sometimes pressed too hard to make plays to win.

he loses his temper a lot though. i was at the mizzou game a couple years back when he threw something like 5 interceptions and after he threw a touchdown came back flippin the crowd off and cussin at them. i like the guy in that he is a great football player but i think he is a baby
