I will eat my crow here.... following Bowie's blunder vs. Wylie. Wylie is a great team and is well coached.

As much as Wylie beat Bowie, Bowie beat themselves. By far the worst game I have seen Bowie play in 4 years. It was the perfect storm, and Bowie got caught in it. Wylie was STRONGLY aided by several questionable calls on Bowie drives early in the game too, including the waiving off of a pass interference call on a key 4th down and a missed blatant holding call (Wylie player tackling would be Bowie tackler from behind) on the 3rd down touchdown which made it 14-0 Wylie ..... but in the second half, Bowie's d simply fell apart, and #6 for Wylie took over the game defensively, along with #5's long runs offensively.

Would love to say that sportsmanship was displayed after the game by Pirate fans, having to walk to the Wylie side to get to my car..... nope. Several Wylie fans hurled insults at me and a friend minding our own business getting to our vehicle. Even heard a 'take your a$$ back to your $h***y Arlington etc etc '. The snickering was not limited to a 'few' bad apples either...seemed to be pretty contagious. Not one person said good game or anything.... I guess playing in a district with Allen has really brought out the worst in some people...

What goes around comes around I suppose. By far though, Worst fans I have encountered since Highland Park fans in '04 I believe.

I hope Wylie loses to Cedar Hill -- make no mistake about that. In fact, I can't see myself EVER cheering for Wylie regardless of the situation.

....see you guys in 2009 when I watch Plano beat the hell out of you in district, and you can damn sure bet I will remember the classless behavior.....

Being a new resident and fan of Plano just got even more fun, since I am sure I will be seeing a lot of Wylie going forward......

I don't resent seeing my alma mater lose...... I resent the post game foolishness directed at me for daring to go to my car on the Wylie side dressed in a Bowie gear......
i just love the agony of defeat

You are an ***, just like the lot I encountered tonight.

Look back in time -- I never said ANYTHING like this after Bowie lost to Trinity in 07 or SGP in 06 after a playoff game......

It's not crying.... it's an account of what happened and my response. You want to try an humiliate me now? Keep it up. You guys are good at kicking a downed man aren't you?

Oct 2008 --- let's see -- your forum join date.... guess it was safe to post when you knew your team was going to make the playoffs already....

I was here, and on other boards, many years before Bowie even smelled being a playoff team. Where were you? Cheering for Celina or PESH or Berkner? And who the ---- do you think you are to call me out?

Your the kind of guy who shows up during the good times, and is no where to be found during the bad ones.....

If you knew me, you would know that crying as a result of a team's football season ending is far from the realm of likely for me.....

The end of the football spectator season for me is the opportunity to re-engage in other community activities and hobbies. For instance, studying the art of graciousness.

I recommend Quiet Strength by Tony Dungy. A book like that, could turn even a ***** like you into a gentleman/gentle-lady.

You might want to touch up on your grammar and reading skills first though.

Vols4Ever,

I thought you were disowning Arlington Bowie. You started a whole thread about it in the yard.
