A narrow vote back in 1987 barely prevented the Sooner bandwagon from being updated to a newer, fresher image.

Did they park that in a handicap parking space?

Those are for physical impairments.

You're argument on Oklahoma being a bad state doesn't bother me. I think it's a dump. The campus at OU is a rare gem in that state, and it's great. Other than that, the roads are pathetic, and there is nothing there. I am a Texas resident, and I plan on working here when I graduate. Not to mention the Oklahoma state flag is possibly the worst of all 50 states.

You can't be a traitor because you're not a true Texan anyway. You're just moving back up towards the north hell that you came from to start with.

Oklahoma=Illinois+rednecks.

Spare me.

Sorry I was only top 20% of my class with a 3.8... not bright enough for almighty UT I guess. My sister had a 4.0 and some change and couldn't even get in, so she went to OU and is now making $50,000 out of college doing accounting. Looks like she got a bad education huh?

This is exactly why there are smart kids from Texas going to OU more than in the past. If you go to a high school where the top 10% cut-off was a 4.2, you get left out of a chance to go to a very good school in UT while some redneck idiot with a 2.8 in his top 10% down there in Sweeny, Texas gets accepted. I love this state, but I will not agree with the elitist idiots in Austin. Especially since that place is a cest-pool for left wingers.

Out of a five-point scale, of course, and not 6 point? Maybe if you were good at football (or maybe your sister?) you could get a scholarship too? My friend got accepted with a 3.6. Maybe Texas foresaw you rooting for OU in the near future, and decided you weren't worth it.
and is now making $50,000 out of college doing accounting. That's Oklahoma money. The equivalent to $50,000 there is $45.35 here.
