How bout the 39-33 score? let's be thorough in our discussion ok?

ONLY UT backers could turn the advantage of not having to play in Norman this season into some measure of accomplishment.

the advantage was gained by not having to go to Norman, as they would have if the schedule was normal for UT& OU.

I'm not saying the other team isn't in the same spot next year, but Texas would have had to play in Norman this season if they didn't do the neutral site thing. Now you keep hearing the neutral site thing brought up, as if it strengthens their cause. I say it weakens it.

Bringing up the win is valid. the fact that it was in Dallas means nothing.

There is always and advantage when playing on home turf. Tech had it over Texas and OU definitely had it over tech in norman. Just saying that on a neutral field with the same amount of tickets going to each team everything is equal at kickoff. Next year Texas will have the home field over tech and tech over OU. Cards may fall a little differently but one thing is constant.
OU/Texas is always neutral.

Neutral site games are a better barometer of how good each team is.

You keep saying UT had an advantage by not playing in Norman.. Why because Tech got throttled there?.. That means OU had the same advantage not playing in Austin.

And Tech gets the home and home every season.. Thats an advantage..

Just have to say... I really don't like Nic Harris. That pass was uncatchable and that probably should have been called as a personal foul rather than pass interference.

I just really don't care for the guy. And I don't really want to hear about how he had a tough childhood and is a community leader... I really don't like him on the field, he plays tough but I hate his demeanor.

3rd. Why didn't they review it?

I don't see how it's me crying that somebody screwed my team out of, essentially, a national championship play-in game. It was a huge call and they blew it twice. The announcers had time to review it several times, but the refs couldn't take a look at it?

Venable's is OU's Achilles heal! All their big choke jobs and losses have come since he has been the head DC. His defenses always play on their heals instead of downhill! They rush Robinson with some 4.8, 4.9 DEs and he uses his 4.5 speed to evade, instead of sending some 4.6 or better DB or LB that could run him down! They act like they didn't practice defensing the option!

I agree there. they'll just have another loss pinned on them before they go to San Antonio or Shreveport...

if they took the top 2 seeds it would suck even more because of the three way tie.

anything that had to do with opinion would screw Tech because we had the latest loss.

Slorch,

Here is the difference. Texas Tech SOS isnt what Texas is. Congrats on beating Texas in the last second of the game in Lubbock. Big win for Tech.

Bottom line is that the two teams in the topic for the 3 way tie are Texas and OU. When everything is a so called tie than the "head to head" game should be the final factor.

Texas beat OU 45-35 on a neutral field. When everything is a wash go to the head to head game right ?? The game where the two teams tied actually played each other on the freaking field.

he could have kneeled it, but osu also had a timeout remaining...i don't think stoops ever expected cb to get anywhere near the endzone. based on the fact the previous 2 or 3 running plays went for very little yardage which was a good indicator of the run game the entire game last night.
