Lufkin has never had trouble getting fans to games, no matter where it is being played at. Lufkin has one of the best followings, and they come early! When we last played lufkin, their side of the stadium was filled up way more than an hour before the game was set to kickoff.

yes, lufkin isd is getting out at 1:30 on friday for the football game.
i bet most of it having due to half(well not half) of the was already leaving class about that time anyways. if you count up the drill team,3 cheerleading squads,the spirit team,the band, the football team and plus all the kids that were leaving early to go. they might aswell just let school out.

lufkin fans start pulling in the parking lot at least 2 to 3 hours before the game starts, if not earlier. when they open the gates to let the pack fans in, there is some people literaly sprinting to get the seat(s) they want.

they have done it before...they did it in 2001 when we played westfield on a friday...and we get out at noon on weds for a teacher workday thing...so in from here to xmas we get 4 early dismissals...wed, fri, wed 14th (finals) thu 15 (finals)
