Good running back, already seen him up close. He had a 153 yards on 19 carries in a 45-30 loss against Lufkin. Ask him who hit him the hardest this year, he can tell you.
Some college will get a good RB with Amadeus Waters, he is a quality player. He should be able to help a team right away.

Can't find any video on Buckram, but why haven't I heard more about him before now? Saw Cove and Garland play, and he's impressive. This video doesn't have him in it, but it does have highlights of Cove / Garland game as well as several other playoff games from the past week. You'll have to register to watch it, then click on High School Sports Special from 11/27.

Didn't do too well vs us, sub 100 performance... no one here was impressed with him at all. Antwan Cobb is definately the best back in Central Texas.

This kid seems to be a good back, in a collection of good back across the state. I myself would have not had my on website with stats and grades and phone numbers, seem to make him a little beside himself. Good runnings come a dime a dozen........

Good RB's dont go D-1 , Great RB's do.

I think any school who is able to pick him up is going to be getting a steal. He gets over looked because he's only a 2* on Rivals, but I'm telling you, the kid can run and run and run. He never gives up and is always looking to hit people. There are 2 clips in there where he trucks over a couple of kids. Whether it be at the D-1 level or not, he's going to be a great back.

Any idea on where he might end up, I know that he had Oklahoma State high on his list earlier in the season, but last I heard he was taking a good look at Michigan State as well.

IF you were at the Our 1st round game vs round rock you could see amadeus use his 32in vertical as he jumped over defendes who tried to talk him. his is a great RB wont be surprised to seee him start in D1 his smorphere(sorry for misspell) year

Wrong good running backs good D1 also. But it,s what you do after you get there.Remember a back is only as good as his O-line makes him.;) Texas and A&M are loaded with great backs that never make a impact. I know of four on A&M great in HS and two of them just stand on the sidelines now

Amadeus rushed for 84 yds. on 15 carries and had another 16 yds on 2 receptions against Westlake (84 + 16 = 100). Granted, it was a sub par performance by his standards but he still equaled the rushing performance of the entire Westlake team. 5.6 yds/carry against a very good defense is impressive. Good running backs do more than just run.
The fact is Amadeus Waters and Antwan Cobb are basically identical in stats in Central Texas and both are outstanding running backs. Good luck to both of them.

You probably would not have been recruited either. Unless your a high profile player on a highly regarded team, getting recruited is all about marketing yourself - period. He is just trying to get some help so he can better himself.
"Good running backs come a dime a dozen"? you can't be serious.

I disagree, Players cannot have great games every game that just does not make sense?" By the way, Lufkin completely shut down Cobb whtn they played Pflugy last year in the area playoffs. That does not mean i do not think he is good though. Lufkin has shutdown many great backs but Waters and Vondrell Mcgee from Longview are the best backs i have seen Lufkin play in the last few years. Waters has strength, speed, agility, and good vision. I see him having a lot of success at the next level.

Amadeus has deceptive speed, he runs a 4.5 though it may not lool like it because he is often running between the tackles. OK State has made him an offer and he will probably take it if he does not get any offers from better D1 football schools. Even though he is 5'10 he can also be moved to play linebacker in D1.

Man how much football have you seen. Texas is a bed of good runnings back, just take a look around and not just in the 5a level then come back and tell ,that good backs don,t come a dime a dozen......remind you I said "good not great" there is a difference.
Javorski Lane did not have to promote himself, you do that on the field and they will come.

i have seen the highlights and is it just me or did he really play a bunch of very non athletic teams. I mean is gues it is still great to run over people but the efforts on the other side of the ball didnt seem as great.

he's 5'10, but he's darn close to 220lbs, BUT he ran a 4.54, which was faster than Michael Goodson which is impressive in itself....
If Waters would drop to about 210, he'd BE A BEAST!!!!! he'd prolly drop his 40 down a couple of .10s too....if NOT, then he'll play LB or FB, i would LOVE to see this kid play RB
anyone got time for his 100m dash????? i didnt see them on his site

40 times and 100 Meter times have nothing to do with how good a player is. Why do you think shuttle times are more important to college coaches than 40 times are when they are recruitingr a DB. And there is never a time in a game where any player runs 100 meter. If you only went by 40 times, people like Emmitt Smith, Curtis Martin, Shawn Alexander, and many more RB in the NFL would have never played football after high school.
